General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Curtis Offers Desperate Nikolas a Dirty Deal – Will Hayden’s BFF Betray Her?

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers indicate that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will make a dirty offer to Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) on an upcoming episode this week or early next week. GH spoilers are out that tease the former cop gone rogue will ostensibly betray his new BFF Hayden Barnes/Rachel Berlin (Rebecca Budig).

We know that Hayden moved Curtis into Wyndemere to help her deal with the threat that Nikolas represents to her safety – and she’s right to do so. Nikolas already tried to shoot her once. So why would Curtis talk to Nikolas about working for him? And why would Nik consider it?

Since Nik got his beating at the hands of Jason (Billy Miller) gone Stone Cold – and Curtis got a nice taste of just how dangerous Jason can be, the prince realizes just how desperate his position has become. Any port in a storm!

Nikolas has made it clear to Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) that he’s planning on getting rid of Hayden one way or the other. Curtis seems interested in protecting Hayden from Nikolas, but is he really more interested in himself? That could work out well for the Prince.

General Hospital spoilers ask if Curtis will take a big pile of money from Nikolas to turn on Hayden? Has Curtis been lying in wait like a coiled snake waiting for this opportunity to come along? Nikolas is a much bigger payday than Hayden, so it makes sense that Curtis could betray her.

But it could be that Hayden is two steps ahead of Nikolas even now. Hayden and Curtis may have cooked up a plan to have Curtis get closer to Nikolas to try and find out what he’s planning.

We know Hayden has the bullet Shawn shot into the wall and Curtis has copies of the ballistics reports. Hayden and Curtis may be tricking Nikolas into making an admission of guilt that they can record to seal the deal on the blackmail.

That would be a good strategy since right now all Hayden and Curtis can prove is that Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) did NOT shoot Hayden. Her evidence might not be enough to fry Nikolas in court and this could be Hayden’s way to make sure she can keep control of her husband.

Curtis seems like he’s been a good friend to Hayden, so would he betray her? The answer is yes. Hayden is not really Curtis’ friend at all. She’s just a rich lady that pays him. And if Curtis thinks he can get fatter stacks of cash from Nikolas, he might transfer his loyalties to the dark prince.

We’ll know soon enough if Curtis’ offer to work for Nikolas is a trap – and whether Curtis can be trusted to look out for anyone but himself. Curtis and Hayden could be setting Nikolas up to take an even bigger fall – or Hayden could be the one on the chopping block…

The best way for Curtis to entice Nikolas to hire him is to offer to destroy the evidence – or go one step further and offer a “permanent” solution to the problem of Hayden. This is going to go really badly for either Nik or Hayden, the big question is who goes down?

Our money is on Hayden coming out on top. She’s like a virus you can’t kill and Nikolas has some major payback coming for his evil antics over the past year. Share your comments below and come back to CDL every day for more “General Hospital” (GH) spoilers.
