General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Franco Angers Jason During New Jake Spencer Debut – Sam Reveals Horrid Past, Stone Cold Emerges

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) will continue to struggle with Stone Cold’s violent urges on next week’s episodes and it becomes more problematic in a confrontation with Franco (Roger Howarth) over Jake Spencer (Hudson West).

The brand new Jake’s General Hospital debut is on next week’s April 25 episode and it looks like there will be an unpleasant interaction at Jake’s art therapy session that sets Jason off and opens up a Pandora’s box of trouble. Franco interferes between Jason and Jake, but not on purpose.

Franco aggravates Jason in a big way and he can’t get past a nagging dislike of Franco although he has no reason he can recall not to like the guy. You’ll recall that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has been chomping at the bit for Jason to remember his past with Franco and go kill him.

So far, though, Jason has not remembered. GH spoilers say that when Jason talks to Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) about his interaction with Franco and the way he reacted, she has to make a tough choice. Sam wants Jason to enjoy his new life without violence but she also thinks Jason deserves the truth.

Sam will come clean to Jason about all of his drama with Franco. If you haven’t been a long-time watcher you may not know that Franco was obsessed with Jason, at one point it was thought they were twins, and Franco tormented both Jason and Sam particularly when it came to Danny.

When Jason hears all of this, he’ll want to go rip Franco’s head off – just like Carly wants him to. But there are a couple of mitigating factors that indicate Carly will not get to see this come to fruition. First is that Jason does not want to be a killer.

Jason doesn’t even want to be in a situation to rough people up – the only reason he went after Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) recently is because Nikolas put his hands on Sam. If the argument had remained hands off, Jason would likely not have escalated it.

The other factor is Franco’s tumor. No doubt Sam will tell Jason that it was removed and that Franco was pardoned for his crimes. Whether Sam believes the tumor was to blame for Franco’s prior actions, she has to admit that Franco hasn’t been up to any evil since it was removed.

Sure Franco pulled a stunt at his and Carly’s Halloween non-starter wedding where he exposed Carly’s cheating with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Sonny’s shooting of AJ to Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell). But that wasn’t evil, that was karma that Carly had coming to her…

Franco seems to be fully rehabilitated aside from helping Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) out when she stole Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) baby. That’s the only real hiccup he’s had post-tumor removal. Plus, Jason is smart enough to understand that life change is possible.

After all, Jason is on his second major life change due to a brain incident – so in that respect, he and Franco share similarities with one notable difference. Jason seems to still be struggling with violent instincts while Franco is fully housebroken.

Not that Franco and Jason will ever be BFFs but they won’t be mortal enemies. There may still be some friction and Sam may even have to intervene between the two, but Jason and Franco’s mutual concern for Jake Spencer – and both wanting to be better men – should see them through.

What do you think GH fans? Were you hoping, like Carly, that Jason would terminate Franco when he got back his memories? Or do you want Jason and Franco to put their troubled past behind them and move forward to help Jake together?
