General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that when Franco (Roger Howarth) goes to visit Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) in Pentonville, he may find out far more than he bargained for when he asks his mother about Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst).
The foundational question in all of this is why Franco went to his mother to ask her about Liz at all. Franco and Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) just had that blow-up where Nina accused him of wanting Liz, in part to irritate Jason Morgan (Billy Miller).
But Nina didn’t stop there. She also said that Franco likes Liz because she’s needy and he’s attached to her kid Jake Webber (Hudson West) even though he didn’t want to raise a kid with Nina. Liz watched the showdown then went to talk to Franco.
Franco, however, seemed to be lost inside his head and weighing what Nina said and walked away from Liz abruptly. When we see Franco next, he’ll be in Pentonville, visiting with Heather and looking for info, guidance, or both.
Franco asks his mom, “What do you know about Elizabeth Webber?” Franco may, in fact, not be digging for information about Liz, but may be asking for advice about his love life. He’s come to his mom before when he had romantic qualms.
Could Franco find out more than he intended? Consider this. Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker) blew out of Port Charles fast. General Hospital spoilers reveal that she’ll be back soon. The actress accepted the job right before she had vacation planned.
That’s why we only got a taste of Naomi. However, you may recall that Naomi was very interested in Liz. She couldn’t take her eyes off of her once she heard her last name is Webber. There seems to be a lot of backstory there.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Liz and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) might be sisters. That means Liz’s dad may have been with Hayden’s mom but then Naomi left Liz with Jeff Webber to be raised knowing another woman as “mom.”
Here’s a quick history lesson for newer watchers. Heather, Franco’s mom, was married to Jeff, Liz’s dad. Creepy right? But Liz wasn’t even born yet and they’ve long-since been divorced. However, Heather had a kid with Jeff named Steven Webber.
So that means Franco and Liz have a brother in common, but he’s a half-brother for each. The point is, Heather knew Liz’s dad back in the day and might know if he had a relationship with Naomi and if they had a child (or children) together.
Could Franco come to Pentonville looking for guidance on whether to pursue Liz romantically but walk out with some dirty Webber family secrets instead? We also have to wonder whether Heather will endorse Franco getting involved with his brother’s sister…
It’s not like any of them grew up together – there were adoptions, black market baby-selling and drama that prevented Franco from being raised with his brother, although Liz was raised with Steven. That’s a twisty family tree for Franco to consider making twistier with this romance.
Will Franco discover the Liz-Hayden connection thanks to his mom? Or will Heather tease at some deep dark secret, but not let Franco in on it yet? General Hospital spoilers reveal that Franco will get an offer – is it from his mother? Is it a deal to get the dirt on Liz?
