New General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) evil plot to get Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) out of her daughter’s life is finally bearing fruit. But Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will soon make her pay for toying with Morgan’s mental health.
As Morgan becomes edgier, his family, including Sonny, begins to ask whether Morgan is off his medication. The problem is, Morgan thinks he’s taking his meds properly and will be angry at the accusation he’s slacking off his treatment.
We all watched as Ava swapped out Morgan’s Lithium meds with an ineffective placebo. Most medication like this takes a few days to go into effect and a few days for the lack of medication to hit. In Morgan’s case, he’ll start losing control very soon.
The real shame is that Morgan has been doing well. He was taking initiative at Perks and has been doing well in his renewed relationship with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). The latter is what concerns Ava – she doesn’t want Morgan anywhere near her kid.
Ironically, Ava doesn’t see she’s just as dangerous (or worse) than Morgan. Her gun running deal with Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) put Kiki in danger. Ava tried to shift blame to Morgan but the thug that shot Kiki would not have been there if not for Ava.
Since Ava blames Morgan for Kiki’s shooting, she wants him gone – no matter how low she sinks to make it happen. General Hospital spoilers tease that Morgan will descend into a bipolar spiral and this starts with him missing work shifts at Perks.
Morgan’s behavior will be increasingly erratic and he’s involved in an incident. Ava is directly responsible for what goes down – and then Kiki will withdraw from Morgan which will make him spiral out more. Sonny will take notice of Ava’s strange reaction.
Sonny will notice that Ava seems pleased rather than concerned at the incident involving Morgan. This leads Sonny to suspect that Ava is somehow responsible for Morgan’s deteriorating condition.
How long until Sonny takes a peek at Morgan’s medication and notices the pills were swapped? Since Sonny also takes Lithium, he would know if the pills are fakes. Until someone notices the evil medicine swap, Morgan will continue to spin out.
Sonny has threatened Ava on a number of occasions if she didn’t stay away from his son. He made it clear he would take full custody of Avery – and make Ava pay. Unfortunately, Sonny doesn’t know that Ava has the most dangerous ally in town.
Since Ava is leveraging Paul and knows he’s the GH serial killer, she could use Paul against Sonny. Paul already shot Sonny once and probably wouldn’t hesitate to go after him again. Could it be Sonny, rather than Ava, that winds up in danger?
