Hot General Hospital (GH) spoilers from sources reveal that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) may not be dead and is the only one that can put an end to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) reign of terror and thirst for power.
Helena warned Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) about how dangerous Valentin is and that he was the one man that scared Helena. It makes sense that Helena could have faked her death so she could go underground and observe Valentin and plan how best to thwart him.
Now that Valentin is in Port Charles, he’s making a big move to stake his claim on the Cassadine legacy and assets. Valentin threatened Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) to make him sign everything over to him so now he’s the master of everything that has to do with the Cassadines.
There is a major war spoiling and it’s going to be Helena vs Valentin in a showdown over the Cassadine legacy. There is no way that Helena will let one of Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) illegitimate offspring control the family that means everything to her.
Helena despises the children that Mikkos spawned outside their marriage, so she will be back to take on Valentin. This should be an epic battle of “evil vs more evil” as these two go to war over the Cassadine family fortune and name.
All of the things that Valentin hates about being a bastard offspring of Mikkos are things he likely blames Helena for and rightly so. That’s why Valentin wants everything and won’t settle for less than being the only ruling Cassadine.
Valentin will try to kidnap Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) this week, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will shut it down. Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) assumes Nikolas is dead, but it seems Valentin knows that Nikolas survived.
Taking Spencer will force Nikolas to come forward and face his evil uncle. Valentin wants to take out the other Cassadines so he’s the last one standing. Valentin will take the Cassadine throne for now, but his plans will ultimately fall apart.
Once Helena is ready, she’ll make her big move and come out of the shadows to take on Valentin. No doubt Helena has been making her own plans while Valentin was making his and these two will ultimately face off.
Can Valentin defeat Helena, back from the dead? Or will it be the evil Cassadine matriarch that squashes Valentin like a bug? Who do you want to win this larger-than-life battle? Are you Team Valentin or Team Helena?
