“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers tease that the big humiliation teased for Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) at the Nurses Ball may be a fashion faux pas on the red carpet when she and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) show up in the same sexy black dress. But who wears it best? Vote in the CDL POLL!
There is definitely no love lost between Liz and Hayden. Liz is firmly on #TeamNikolas and is helping Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) plot a way to cut his scheming wife Hayden out of his life without paying her a penny.
In fact, if it wasn’t for Hayden’s presence, Nikolas and Liz might be on the red carpet together since they’re BFFs and former GH love interests. But since Nikolas and Hayden are still hitched, he warned his reluctant wife to show up on the red carpet and behave.
But the General Hospital Nurses Ball Red Carpet will be drama filled instead. Not only will Liz and Hayden show up wearing the same gown, but the reporters covering the red carpet may call them out and compare the two. So who will come out on top?
Both women are striking for sure, but Hayden is a little curvier and may fill out the bottom of the gown better. Then again, Liz has a nice décolletage and fills out the top a little better. But is there really any way that Hayden can compete with that beautiful porcelain skin of Liz’s? No way.
We also have to wonder about this aspect of the red carpet coverage. Embarrassment over showing up in the same gowns aside, is Hayden crazy to allow her face to be shown on broadcast TV? Remember she’s been hiding out playing Hayden Barnes when she’s really Rachel Berlin…
GH spoilers tease that mama Berlin aka Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker) will hit Port Chuck on June 3. Is it Hayden and Liz’s red carpet showdown that draws attention to Hayden and brings her mother to town looking for Rachel (and possibly a payday)?
Also, after Liz deals with this Hayden showdown, more sparks fly. Nikolas has a red carpet clash of his own when he and Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) have a tense moment as they enter the Nurse’s Ball. Then when Franco (Roger Howarth) steps up for Liz, Jason gets irritated.
The 2016 GH Nurses Ball may turn out to have more fireworks than last year and that’s saying something since at the 2015 event, Duke died, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) was crushed by Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), the Jake-Jason secret was revealed to Liz by Nik, and Obrecht ran rampant in red balloons.
