Hot new General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the Tuesday, August 16 episode reveal that Morgan runs to Andre for shrink help, Ava tries to get Dillon to split up Kiki and Morgan, Nina is desperate for a baby, Sam considers Jason’s marriage proposal, and Josslyn goes off on her parents.
At GH, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) thought Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) would be happy to learn that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) was her kidney donor, but Joss’s parents are caught off guard by their daughter’s volatile reaction.
Josslyn rants that she asked them to stop the donor search and can’t believe that they went on without her. Once she chills out, no doubt Josslyn will be happy that she and Nelle have a meaningful connection. Nelle prepares to leave town now that the truth is out.
However, Carly feels like Nelle is part of the family and asks her daughter’s donor to stay put in Port Charles for a while. Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) will chime in and encourage Nelle to stay for a while and hang with the Corinthos crew.
Dirty DA Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) runs into Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and tells her not to scare him like that. How did Tracy scare Paul? Will they discuss their son Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Watkins)? Dillon is with Ava Jerome (Maura West) listening to her pitch.
Ava wants Dillon to scheme with her to break up Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) but Dillon is hesitant and wonders if Ava has an ulterior motive. Dillon will bring up Ava’s past with Morgan and speculates that she might want her boy toy back.
Ava insists this is just about Morgan being bad for Kiki and says all Kiki needs to walk away from Morgan is to know Dillon wants her. The good news is that Ava planted a seed even if it won’t blossom for a little while.
Dillon and Kiki will soon find themselves in familiar circumstances that has Kiki taking a fresh look at Dillon. Kiki has a car problem in the MetroCourt garage and then Dillon rides to the rescue. Remember when he lured her outside when she was struggling with PTSD?
This incident will remind Kiki that Dillon is a healthier match for her particularly after Morgan had what seemed like a manic fit at the MetroCourt when he was rambling on about work ideas. Ava has hope after she eavesdrops on their conversation.
Morgan realizes he’s spiraling with his wild talk about work and weddings and makes an appointment to see Dr Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery). Morgan tells his shrink that he’s scared. Andre will reassure him.
Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) is more baby crazy than ever and wants Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to find her a kid to adopt. If Nina shares her backstory about the pregnancy and coma, she might be able to talk Curtis into this shady assignment.
Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is worried about her baby but distracted by Jason Morgan’s (Billy Miller) impromptu proposal. Sam asks if Jason is serious about it and wonders if she should accept. These two might end up with love, marriage, and a baby carriage as long as the malaria scare is over.
Dr Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) finds himself seeking out Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) again. The lizard lover can’t seem to stay away from the lovely widow Cassadine. Their friendship will continue to evolve and Hayden finds she needs her pal Finn in coming days.
