“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal that on next week’s episodes Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is in for a nasty surprise. The Port Charles mobster came back from Ecuador confident that bringing in Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey V Parise) would be the key to avenging Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) but justice has not been served yet – and may never be!
Julian Jerome (William deVry) is concerned about Carlos turning on him, particularly since Carlos called him from jail to taunt him about taking a deal from the DA. Julian has two options – taking Carlos out or getting him off on the crimes for which he’s charged.
Julian asks Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to act as Carlos’ attorney and that’s the part that unsettles Sonny. He knows firsthand how good of a lawyer she is – Alexis has kept Sonny out of jail for various felonies on a number of occasions.
General Hospital spoilers Sonny will soon take tough guy Max Giambetti (Derk Cheetwood) with him to go threaten Julian. Will Sonny make it clear that even if Carlos escapes justice, Julian won’t? Does Sonny threaten to take Julian out if he doesn’t end up in jail? We can expect threats of harm…
This won’t be a pleasant conversation and we have to wonder if the Jerome cartel will get involved and whether another mob war could break out since Julian is in charge of his family’s organization again. While Sonny and Julian stare each other down, Alexis does her lawyer thing.
GH spoilers announce that Alexis will go see Carlos at the PCPD and give him stellar advice on how to handle the charges he’s facing – and no doubt she tells him not to talk. Alexis says she can take care of everything but Carlos isn’t sure if Alexis is representing him or her husband.
After his run in with Sonny, Julian is concerned and wants to know from Alexis how it went with Carlos and that’s where things get interesting. Alexis can’t tell Julian anything about the case – she’s a stickler for attorney-client privilege.
Has Julian shot himself in the foot by hiring his wife to represent Carlos? Is there any chance Alexis defending Carlos could leave Julian on the hot seat? Can Alexis defend Carlos and represent his best interests while also shielding Sonny?
After Anna meets with Carlos, General Hospital spoilers warn that she’ll have a run-in with Sonny that’s not pleasant. Sonny tells Alexis to stay out of the mess Julian has created for himself. Sonny tells her to cut Carlos loose and Julian too. But Alexis doesn’t take well to ultimatums.
Sonny’s warning will irritate Alexis. She doesn’t like being told what to do, particularly by her mobbed up baby daddy. Sonny confronting Alexis about her choice of husband and clients is too much for her. Alexis feels bad that Sonny lost Duke, but no way will she let Sonny order her around.
Between Julian asking probing questions and Sonny bossing her, Alexis could become a problem for both mobsters. GH spoilers indicate that there will be a twist that complicates the Carlos case towards the end of the month that may push Sonny and Julian to their limits.
