General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has an unpleasant encounter coming over her new romance with Franco (Roger Howarth). Once Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) makes it back from Cassadine Island (spoiler alert – Stone Cold lives!) he’ll have something to say about this.
Jason hates Franco – and it’s not without cause. After all, Franco was obsessed with him, tormented him and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and kidnapped one of Liz’s sons. As far as Jason is concerned, Franco may as well be the devil, except that Franco has truly changed – only Jason can’t see it.
Jason was once a mob enforcer/hit man and no longer wants to be that, so he does know people can change. But when Jason is faced with danger, his instincts kick in. Does Jason see Franco the same way – that Franco may have changed, but Franco has killer instincts that could resurface at any time?
Liz will see her first date with Franco go a bit awry when he locks them into his art studio and scares her a bit, but things will, no doubt, warm up from there. Clearly, Liz is tempted by Franco and they have chemistry and the date will leave her wanting more.
But will things come to a shrieking halt when Jason gets back to Port Charles and starts making demands and ultimatums? Jason doesn’t want Franco in Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) life – or Liz’s either, for that matter. But what can Jason do other than speak his mind?
Is there a chance that Jason will be so outraged by Liz’s blossoming romance with the reformed serial killer that he tries to take custody of her son away? Is there any way that Jason can chill out and accept that Franco is safe to be around his family? Nah. There’s big trouble coming. But how bad will it get?
Will Jason sue Liz for custody of Jake? If so, could Jason actually win given his criminal history despite Liz’s own shady behavior? Will it come to this extreme? General Hospital spoilers reveal that once Jason gets back and finds out Liz is seeing Franco, he’ll be livid and will confront his ex.
The last time Jason demanded that Liz cut Franco out of her and Jake’s lives, Liz did as he requested. This time, though, we can expect Liz to stand by her man. Not only will she stand up to Jason this week and defend Franco, but Liz will also go to bat for Franco when he falls onto the PCPD’s radar.
Franco will be brought in and questioned since his prints were found on the drug vial in the most recent victim’s room and Liz will defend him when evidence seems like it’s against Franco. Liz will be fighting for Franco on two fronts – and he’ll appreciate her confidence in him.
How will this all fall out? We know Jake doesn’t want Franco out of his life and definitely won’t like it if Jason tries to drive Franco away. Will Jason have to bite the bullet and learn to live with Franco as part of the weird extended family he has with Liz, Sam, and the kids?
