New General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Julian Jerome (William deVry) has Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) right where he wants her. No one wants to get run down by an ex, but if it will accomplish your goals, how bad can it be? Julian will soon use the DUI hit and run to reunite with Alexis.
Just as Alexis thought she got away with it because Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) told her they’re focusing on it as another assassination attempt, Julian called from the hospital to demand that Alexis come see him. He told her she owed him that at the least – and maybe she does.
Remember Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) told Julian that he would need a lot of care since he’s got a broken ankle, four broken ribs, and had surgery for internal bleeding. Of course, he could go home to his sister Ava Jerome (Maura West), but that’s not what he wants. He wants Alexis back.
Alexis will show up at the hospital, as requested, and that’s when Julian makes his move. Alexis has many reasons to pay attention to what Julian has to say. First, he could have her arrested for the hit and run. He could call Jordan back and tell her that he suddenly remembered who ran him over.
Second, Alexis is up for a review of her law license in January and Julian knows about that since Alexis proudly blabbed that to him while she was boozing at the roadhouse. He knows reporting her for DUI and hit and run would put an end to her career and she knows it, too.
Third, Alexis is desperate to hide her drinking from her kids and Julian knows that too. Alexis threw away Julian’s phone to keep him from calling Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco). He can tell them she’s been a total boozehound and ran him over – even if he doesn’t call the cops.
In short, Julian has the power to wreck her life and Alexis knows it. When Alexis asks what he wants for his silence, his request is simple. He wants to go home with her and for her to take care of him while he convalesces. He needs help and she’s the one who ran him down, so he thinks it’s fair.
Of course, it’s not fair since he’s the one that tried to kill her first, but it’s Port Charles, so things are crazy. Julian is hoping that sponge baths will lead to steamy sex and a reunion of Julexis. Alexis will have to make a choice. Suffer her broken ex-husband under her roof or see her life destroyed.
Alexis brought this on herself by boozing and now she has to pay the price. Alexis will agree and takes Julian out of GH. Neither Ava nor Sam trust what they see when Alexis does this. Ava knows Julian is working an angle because nothing she knows explains why his ex-wife would take him in.
Sam wants to know from her mom why she’s doing this and Alexis’ answers won’t satisfy her. She can say he has nowhere to go and no one else to take care of him, but that’s not true. Ava could do it. Sam and Ava both may begin to suspect that Alexis had something to do with Julian’s injuries.
This is the beginning of a new chance at love for Julexis. GH fans are torn. Some love Julexis and want them back together and another faction thinks she’d be crazy to get back with the man that tried to murder her. GH writers promised a reunion of Julexis and this seems to be the start of it.
