New General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Julian Jerome (William deVry) will be more desperate than ever after his recent visit at the PCPD jail from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who told him to plead guilty or die. Julian will soon launch a new scheme to evade justice but he has no idea the forces aligned against him.
Now that Sonny knows that Julian was planning an escape attempt – thanks to Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) blabbing to Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) – he’s more determined than ever that Julian won’t evade justice this time. When Ava Jerome (Maura West) visited, she found Julian despondent, but things will soon change.
Rather than forcing Julian to submit, Sonny’s death threat will have the opposite effect and will galvanize Julian to make a bold new plan to get out of his predicament – and it all hinges on his estranged wife Alexis and the street smarts of his attorney Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner).
Alexis has already unintentionally helped Julian’s case by getting into that public spat with Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) at the MetroCourt. Alexis looks unstable and it makes her seem like a less-than-credible witness against her husband. Scotty can definitely use this in court.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Julian’s plan doesn’t involve him pleading guilty like Sonny wants – or not guilty like he wants. But that doesn’t leave many options to consider. There’s death, escape, or getting the charges dropped. Death seems to be at cross-purposes with Julian’s goals.
Escape seems far-fetched as well since Julian wants to get back together with Alexis – although she swears that she’s done with him. GH spoilers reveal that Julian will face trial, but the outcome will be unexpected. When Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) comes back to Port Charles, she might not like what she sees.
Ava would help Julian if she could, but Paul has put her in a tough position too. He promised that he would pursue her for Connie’s murder if she doesn’t testify against Julian. Other General Hospital spoilers hint that Paul’s life will be in danger related to the trial and it may be about the evidence he has against Ava.
If Ava can be free of Paul’s blackmail, she’s available to help Julian fight for his freedom. Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) warned Alexis that she may have compromised the case as the lead witness, and spoilers hint Alexis will continue to spiral, no doubt Alexis will play into Ava and Julian’s plan, even if it’s not intentional on her part.
