General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Sam and Liz Showdown – Sonny Demands Morgan Back Off – Nik and Hayden Desperate

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers for the Thursday, January 21 show include a Jason mediated Liz and Sam catfight, bad news for Nikolas and Hayden, and more mob action. Here’s the spoilers to get you ready for the must-see episode.

First, how could Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) think it’s a good idea to hire Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) to investigate what’s going on at Liz Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) house? Does he not understand that these women guard their territory like mad?

Liz walks in on her ex-fiancé and his wife in her home when she’s not there and is not amused. When Jason explains he brought Sam in to help, Liz refuses it. She doesn’t trust Sam and doesn’t want her around. Which is what Sam thinks about Liz too.

Sam misinterprets Liz wanting her out of it as Liz’s guilt for setting up the scenarios. Liz will accuse Sam of butting in where she’s not needed – Sam will accuse Liz of making things up to keep Jason around. It won’t be pretty – and Jason has to break up the ensuing catfight.

Another argument is brewing at GH as well. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gets good news on a mob matter – something to do with gunrunner Raj maybe. Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) wants to get involved and Sonny is not having it.

Too bad Morgan is already in it… you recall some of Raj’s people saw Morgan lurking around and reported back to Ava Jerome (Maura West) who has, so far, not alerted Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) about the incident. But trouble’s brewing there.

Sonny hopes to tie Ava to Raj and leverage this into getting custody of Avery. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) however, takes a more direct approach. She tries to appeal to Ava to let Sonny have more time with his daughter. Looks like Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) may help out again.

Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) will have a busy day. She has an unwelcome encounter with Curtis (Donnell Turner). There is history between them that has something to do with TJ Ashford (Tequan Richmond). Since Curtis knows Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), he knows TJ.

Curtis may also know Shawn is TJ’s dad – does he want to tell TJ the truth? Bottom line is Jordan doesn’t want Curtis anywhere near her son and demands that he leave Port Charles. Curtis won’t do it – he doesn’t like Jordan’s attitude.

Jordan’s second run-in of the day is out at Wyndemere with Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher). She now has witness statements in hand that say Nikolas was the aggressor and his fall was an accident. This contradicts what Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and Nikolas said.

With conflicting statements, looks like Jordan will tell Nikolas she’s dropping the charges against Jason for now, unless there’s more evidence to back up what Nikolas alleged. This is bad for Nikolas who needed Jason out of the way (or under his control) because of his ELQ shares.

Nikolas is on the brink of losing everything. Meanwhile Hayden gets a call from Curtis who demands his money for the investigative work. Does she know yet that Nikolas hired the shooter? Or is Curtis holding back that tidbit until he gets his cash?

Hayden needs to get ELQ shares to satisfy Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) so she doesn’t blow up her life. Hayden may be in luck – looks like Nikolas might rethink her proposal since he’s desperate to hang on to ELQ. Will he play right into Hayden’s hands?

Hayden is torn because she’s really falling for Nik but doesn’t know yet he tried to have her killed. Both Hayden and Nikolas have a lot of pressure on them – and Nikolas will soon amp up the romance which makes this much harder on Hayden.
