New General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is headed back to Port Charles and will pop up on Friday, September 2 for a three-episode appearance. But what is the Jackal doing back in Port Chuck? Three major storylines we should see him involved with are the JaSam wedding, Maxie’s split, and the kidney story.
Frank Valentini recently leaked a wedding photo from the Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) nuptials. Given how close Jason and Spinelli are, it seems very likely that Jason will tap the Jackal to be his best man. Spinelli will be thrilled.
Spinelli will also be excited to find out about the JaSam baby. Even though Sam and Jason are keeping the news pretty closely held, there’s no doubt they would share their blissful baby announcement with their favorite hacker.
Also, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will need the support of her bestie and former lover when she’s left reeling from the Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) fallout after his brawl with former priest Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Maxie had a bad reaction to Nathan’s attack on the doctor.
She told him that he obviously still loves Claudette Bolland (Bree Williamson) and GH fans could see the signs because there is no reason Nathan should have attacked the man he shot for sleeping with his then-wife. Maxie will need a shoulder to cry on.
This is a perfect time for Spinelli to step up, but we have to wonder if this will complicate his relationship with Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson). Will Maxie have Spinelli dig deeper into Claudette’s past to find out what she was up to after the Griffin shooting up until now?
Then there’s also the kidney case. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had Spinelli looking into the shady clinics where Nelle Hayes’ (Chloe Lanier) kidney might have been harvested before it was given to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Nelle is now putting down roots in Port Charles and seems kind of shady. Sonny has taken notice and may have Spinelli dig deeper into her past to find out if there’s anything that Sonny should be worried about. Perhaps Spinelli has already found out something and will share the results in person.
Any time Spinelli comes back to Port Charles, it’s cause to celebrate and, considering what’s going on with his pals, his hacking skills and expertise may be much needed. We also wonder if Spinelli will bring baby Georgie (Harper Rose Barash) along when he visits.
It seems like Maxie might need the comfort of her daughter’s company now considering the turmoil with her fiancé Nathan. No doubt Spinelli will keep busy during his Port Charles visit with all the storyline action going on with the usual cast of characters he interacts with.
