Somehow George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have defied the odds and managed to remain married – but according to an all new tabloid report, the couple is on the verge of a $220 Million divorce because of George’s relationship with his pal and former costar Julia Roberts.
Ever since George Clooney and Julia Robert starred in ‘Pretty Woman’ together decades ago, fans are certain that they would make the perfect real life couple. However, Amal Alamuddin is starting to feel threatened by their “closeness.”
This week’s cover of the National Enquirer features a photo of Julia Roberts and George Clooney. The headline screams, “George And Julia Caught Cheating –Humiliated Amal Demands $220 Million Divorce!” There is also a photo of what appears to be Julia and George kissing, and the cover goes on to tease, “the kiss that destroyed both their marriages.”
According to The National Enquirer’s inside source, “Amal has had enough! She’s sick and tired of watching George cozy up to Julia.” The insider adds, “She can never compete with their long history, and now Amal wants out. She wants a divorce — and it’s going to be expensive!”
It’s no secret that Amal Alamuddin hasn’t been the biggest fan of George Clooney’s Hollywood pals. And, we’re sure all those diehard fans on the internet that are constantly raving about how adorable a couple Julia and George would make definitely unnerve Amal. As far as the “kiss that ruined their marriages” – we’re more apt to believe that was just George and Julia greeting each other or saying goodbye, and it got totally misconstrued.
