Things were once again getting out of control on when a couple police officers had come looking for Wes. They had apparently had wanted to question him again about the shooting in New York however, this time around they came prepared with a warrant search Wes’s apartment. So Meggy had tried calling Wes and he wasn’t answering. So she had also tried Laurel and fortunately, she had gotten her. Laurel had still been with Wes and Bonnie at Annalise’s house and so Laurel when found out what happened then so did everyone else. But Wes wanted to talk to the cops and Annalise told him not to.

Annalise had felt they had enough on their hands with Bonnie and Laurel betraying them that they didn’t need to make it worse by talking to the cops. So Annalise told Wes that he couldn’t talk to the police and she had also threatened to tie him to a chair like they did to Rebecca if he tried to leave. However, Annalise didn’t just want Wes staying put for a few hours. She hadn’t wanted him to leave her house at any point during the day and so he had missed all of his exams yet he had made himself useful. Annalise had asked Wes to watch Bonnie and Bonnie to watch Wes. And that way she would at least know where they were at all hours.

Yet, Bonnie had a reason for seeing Frank and she had told Annalise that she had actually tried to help Wes with her little visit Coalport. Bonnie had said that met up with Frank to prove what he did and she did find a way to do that. She had gotten a recording of Frank admitting to shooting Wes’s father and then wanting to pin the crime on Wes. So Bonnie had hoped that recording would be enough to win back Annalise’s trust though Annalise didn’t really care about a recording they couldn’t use in court so she was still angry at Bonnie and she had even admitted that she could kill Frank. And Wes agreed with her.

Wes couldn’t forgive what Frank did and he too doubted Bonnie’s motive. Though Bonnie later tried to find Wes counsel to represent him for when he talked to NYPD and Annalise still hadn’t been satisfied. So it was back to the drawing board for them and unfortunately Laurel made everything worse by blabbing to the others. Laurel had told them that Wes was a suspect in his biological father’s murder and that had made everyone a little nervous. They didn’t want to police looking into any of them and Connor for one had thought that Wes had ruined everything good in their lives.

Connor had later seen Wes by himself and he had told Wes that if he told the police anything about him that he would kill him. So another investigation into one of them was definitely bringing out the worst in the Keating Five. The others had even shunned Laurel because she had initially hid things from them so the group was breaking up. But Annalise had told them that she would handle it like she handled everything else for them and so they had to trust her. And they had also needed to act as if nothing was wrong.

Yet, their way of pretending everything was fine was by working a new case. Annalise had gotten reinstated at the school after she just barely kept her license and so she the case she had chosen on her first day back had been Danny’s. Danny or Daniella had been a woman on leave from the army when she claims that had been viciously attacked by some guy at a bar and had been forced to defend herself. So her case was really about whether or not she had been acting in self-defense when she had cut someone’s throat open, but what was making the case difficult was the fact that Annalise was Danny’s lawyer.

Annalise was hated by the District Attorney’s Office and the judge that was also working Danny’s case had seemed to hate Annalise as well. However, ADA Renee Atwood did have a reason at least for hating Annalise. Annalise had made a fool of Renee in court and Renee was also jealous that Nate had been with Annalise first. So Renee could have been the bigger person seeing as she was now with Nate yet she didn’t want to be and her smite was hard to work through. Renee would always claim that Annalise was doing something with even the basic of questions and the judge would always back her. And then the judge would tell Annalise to watch herself.

Annalise though was able to find a loophole that would allow her to still keep her license during her probationary period and get Danny a deal. Annalise had found out that Danny had fabricated what happened to her overseas and would commit perjury if she took the stand so that’s what she let happen. Annalise had allowed Danny to commit perjury. But then she had Bonnie come “rushing” into court with evidence of perjury. So Annalise had taken the judge aside and had admitted that her client without her prior knowledge had committed a crime and that had forced Renee’s hand because there wasn’t much she could.

Renee knew that she could either give Danny a deal or watch as the judge called a mistrial. So Renee did what Annalise wanted and she gave Danny a deal. She had offered probation if Danny confessed to a misdemeanor and Annalise had later told her client to take the deal. Though taking that deal would mean that Danny couldn’t stay in the reserves yet she what she did and so Danny ended up taking that deal. And Annalise was finally free to check on Wes only to find out that he was gone and that he had taken the recording of Frank with him.

But Wes had destroyed that recording. He knew that Annalise would get blamed if anyone found out that she was connected to Frank and he also hadn’t wanted to hurt Laurel. So Wes had shown Laurel what he did and he had told that she didn’t need to worry about Frank anymore because he wouldn’t tell the cops about Frank’s involvement however, Laurel had said that she was done with Frank. She had told Wes that she couldn’t trust Frank and so she didn’t care for him. And, well, Wes had in a way dared her to prove it.

Wes had told Laurel that he broke up with Meggy and with both him and Laurel out of relationships – they finally acted on their feelings for one another and slept together. However, they had still been together when they heard on the news that Wallace’s son had gotten arrested for his murder. So everyone else in their circle had tried finding out where Wes was because they had thought that he had gotten arrested and funnily enough the news had been talking Wallace Mahoney’s other son. Like the one that Annalise had defended all the years ago and who nearly got sent to prison for allegedly killing his fiancée.

Charles Mahoney, Wes’s brother!

THE END!
