The Keating Five have found themselves in hot water yet again on tonight’s all new episode of “How to Get Away with Murder”.

And all because they had apparently forgotten the cousin. As in Catherine and Caleb Hapstall’s cousin Philip who may very well have been the killer that everyone was looking for in the first half of this season, but who’s since disappeared following Catherine’s arrest. For a murderous rampage that she had never gone on.

But that’s the thing about Phillip. He had known that Catherine had been framed because Philip had been at the Hapstall house on the night Annalise was shot and an ADA was supposedly murdered. Thus it could also be Phillip that’s behind the videotape of that night. That showed the Keating Five had still been at the house long after they claimed to have gone home.

So this video can be very incriminating in the wrong hands and someone had sent a snippet of it to Connor to prove to him that they have it.

Connor though chose to see the fact that such a video even exists as a threat. Therefore, he did what normally happens when someone threatens him and his occasional friends. Connor went over to Annalise’s expecting to get help if he asked for it. And it seems that he made a mistake.

Either Connor had pretty much forgotten his conversation with Annalise from last week where the group as a whole had told Annalise they didn’t need her anymore. Or he merely thought it wouldn’t matter anymore if there was a video proving they had all lied under oath about what really happened that night at the Hapstall house. But there was simply no way Annalise was going to allow him to waltz back through the door and demand her help. So she made him grovel for it.

And then, only then, did she decide to step in after she named a few stipulations. One of them being that they had to tell the entire group about the video which in this case included Asher. Although Connor didn’t think Asher was mentally strong enough to talk about that night much less be reminded of it by seeing the video.

Yet, ultimately, Annalise got her way and both Michaela and Asher showed up at her house ready to confront the latest threat because Connor did end up receiving more snippets. And a demand for a million dollars in cash.

Only no one could reach either Wes and Laurel seeing as the two had gone completely dark on everyone else.

And Frank only barely looked for them because he thought Laurel was still upset with him for killing Lila though that had only been partial true. Laurel was denying his calls because she was more than little disgusted with him, but she had also gotten drawn in to Wes’s situation. Which later took to them to Ohio.

Apparently that case file that Annalise had given Wes had been about a murder trial involving Hedge Fund Manager Charles Mahoney being accused of killing his wife. And it seems that the only witness to verify Charles’s alibi for the night in question had been provided to him by Wes’s mother Rose. However, Rose hadn’t testified in Charles’s defense.

She had said she was going to do it yet failed to show when called upon. Therefore, Wes began to believe that someone murdered her and had made it look like suicide seeing as that would certainly explain why Annalise has always looked out for him. And had even forgiven him for Sam.

So while Laurel and Wes were figuring out what Charles Mahoney had to do with his mother, Annalise had basically given up hope back home.

Annalise didn’t have the money that the blackmailer was demanding and she couldn’t find Philip. Even though she had tried to get contact with him by getting Caleb to talk Catherine into reveal everything she knew about Philip, but Catherine had ended up seeing through the ploy. And she refused to help Annalise in any way.

Thus Catherine wasn’t going to talk and there was literally no other way to get into contact with Philip. And that led to Annalise to give up hope. Until, that is, Nate surprisingly told her not to.

In fact, Nate said she should call the blackmailer’s bluff. So that’s what Annalise went with. And the man that could be Philip answered by showing the new footage that he shot just the night before of Annalise and Nate together.

So the group has a stalker still in town, but Laurel it seems hadn’t been concerned about that when she came running to Annalise’s office. And all Laurel wanted to know was if Wes really did kill his mother because she found something in Rose’s file, that Wes hadn’t seen, though it had named him as the primary suspect in his mother’s homicide.

And she wanted to know if the man she just made out with Ohio has been killing people since he was a kid!

THE END!
