As previously reported, Somerhalder wants to be a daddy and has been pressuring Nikki to get pregnant. Ian is nearing 40 and it appears his career is headed south. “TVD” has been moved to Friday nights on the CW schedule – you might as well write the cancellation press release now.
If Nikki quits “Sleepy Hollow” she can always find another acting gig after baby Somerhalder arrives, right? Ian can be a stay-at-home daddy!
A source recently divulged to OK! that Ian Somerhalder absolutely wants to be a dad. However, the actor respects Nikki Reed’s desire to focus on her career right now. After all, Ian and Nikki are still in the “honeymoon phase” of their marriage!
The actors both definitely want kids, the only thing the couple disagrees on at this point is when they’ll start having babies.
The source close to the couple says even though Somerhalder is in a big hurry to be a daddy, “[Ian] is mature enough to know there’s give and take in marriage. [Somerhalder] will keep asking until he gets a yes!” the insider reveled.
No baby pressure, huh? Ian’s going to keep asking until he gets a yes? Why not just agree on a time frame? It doesn’t need to be exact! Maybe, let’s wait a year and then discuss baby plans again? Is that too much to ask?
