Jamie Dornan finds needlepoint relaxing after a long day of filming. Would you ever expect to find sexy Christian Grey’s portrayer working on a cross-stitch during his downtime? That’s the “Fifty Shades of Grey” star’s not-so-sexy hobby.
Disappointed that Dornan doesn’t enjoy the same hedonistic pleasures as the character Jamie portrays? Or do women find a guy who needlepoints just as sensual as a dominant man into kinky pleasures?
A former employee recently divulged to Star that Jamie is as obsessed with needlepoint as Christian is with sex. While Mr. Grey guards his privacy with an entourage and nearly every security measure known to man, Dornan isn’t afraid to continue creating one of his canvases on a plane full of people. The hobby relaxes Jamie – and apparently doesn’t care who knows it!
Who wouldn’t need to wind down with a good cross-stitch after portraying the sensual, punishing and deviant Christian? Even more sick and twisted s Dornan’s role as serial killer Paul Spector in “The Fall” opposite Gillian Anderson. Yeah, we’d need a nice quiet pastime too after a lengthy day portraying a sadist or a serial killer!
The handsome actor doesn’t seem to have a problem getting in touch with his feminine side! Too bad the actor is off the market. Jamie Dornan married Amelia Warner in 2013.
Wonder what Amelia thinks of hubby’s hobby? Maybe Amelia is a needlepoint enthusiast, too. Or maybe Dornan’s wife enjoys crocheting or knitting or scrapbooking? Dornan and Warner may enjoy a quiet evening in front of a fire with glass of wine – with a little needlepoint!
Filming for the third season of “The Kill” has already begun. Production of “Fifty Shades Darker” is set to start sometime in 2016. We’re betting Jamie Dornan has a few canvases, a lot of silken thread and a bunch of needles on hand. Dornan will need them to relax between filming the intense characters Christian Grey and Paul Spector.
