Justin Bieber Pet Monkey Controversy: North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance Slams Biebs

Justin Bieber is causing yet another controversy over irresponsible pet monkey ownership. The North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance is furious that the Biebs is considering adopting another monkey because the singer has no clue how to care for it.

TMZ reports that NAPSA is trying to get the word out that allowing Bieber to have another monkey is “dangerous to both [Justin] and [Justin’s] monkey, as well as irresponsible when it comes to your public following.”

Mally was the first monkey Bieber owned. The Biebs took Mally overseas with him while on tour in 2013. The poor thing was intercepted by customs in Germany because Justin didn’t have the proper paperwork to bring Mally with him. To add insult to injury, the Biebs never tried to get Mally the Monkey back.

Through TMZ the North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance wants the world to be aware “monkeys carry disease and turn hostile when owners try to domesticate them.” NAPSA is adamant – Justin isn’t able to provide a safe environment for the mammal.

But it’s not just a pet monkey that has raised ire toward Justin Bieber. A columnist for GLOBE is furious because the Biebs bought a Labrador retriever puppy the singer has named Phil. The columnist listed several reasons why Bieber should never be allowed to own a pet again.

First, Justin handed over his American bulldog Karma to dad Jeremy as a present. A dog trainer who worked with the Biebers’ made the accusation that in 2014 Jeremy flung the poor doggy off a second-floor balcony during a fit of rage. The pup allegedly had bitten the Biebs little brother Jaxon. Karma wasn’t hurt during the incident, luckily a snow bank cushioned his fall.

Then there is the matter of Pac the hamster who Justin pawned off on a Belieber . The hamster died not long after. And don’t forget the albino boa constrictor! Justin grew tired of caring for it and actioned the snake off.

The GLOBE writer doesn’t think Justin Bieber has any business owning animals because the Biebs can’t take care of them properly. The correspondent suggests Bieber should “do everyone a favor and give ‘em up to a loving home.”

What do you think? Is Justin an irresponsible pet owner? Should the singer either hire trained professionals to care for the animals or find homes for them with caring families?
