Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin’s divorce is still stirring bitter feelings between the two former reality television stars. Now, Kate Gosselin is trashing and throwing her ex-husband Jon Gosselin under the bus by claiming that he “changed overnight” and became a different person, transforming from husband to playboy, just when she needed him the most.
Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin’s feud has been very public and very personal since their divorce back in 2009. Kate Gosselin has had full custody of the ex-couple’s eight children as Jon Gosselin has struggled to find stable work throughout the years. And now Kate Gosselin claims her relationship’s dissolution is mostly in part because Jon Gosselin has refused to cooperate by swapping his fatherhood duties for the celebrity spotlight instead.
Jon Gosselin’s weird transformation from dedicated husband and father to celebrity playboy began when he hooked up with several women after his divorce, which included various babysitters, ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman, and Michael Lohan’s current wife, Kate Major.
According to People Magazine, Kate Gosselin explained, “I really would have thought he’d have been here for the long haul. The weirdest thing is that overnight he became a different person. People closest to me thought I was crazy and making it up,. When they saw it for themselves, they were like, ‘Whoa.’ They saw the proof – and then I saw all the letters from women saying, ‘I’ve been there, too.’”
Of course, many fans know that Kate Gosselin is equally to blame here as well. The often-controlling mother-of-eight often berated and humiliated her husband Jon Gosselin during their TLC reality show, “Jon and Kate Plus 8” before it was ultimately canceled several years ago.
It’s not wonder that Jon Gosselin “changed overnight” when the last thing he wanted to do was cooperate with a woman who constantly belittled him in public. But then again, that also gives no excuse for Jon Gosselin to ignore his parental duties or for Kate Gosselin to publicly throw him under the bus, either.
After all, Jon Gosselin is the father of Kate Gosselin’s eight children and the last thing her kids need to see is the two of them blaming each other for the demise of their family to the media.
