Kate Middleton Fashion Disaster: Prince Charles Refuses To Increase Duchess of Cambridge's Wardrobe Allowance

Kate Middleton’s blue and white patterned capris worn during the Eden Project tour scream fashion disaster. Not just a fashion disaster, a complete and utter wardrobe malfunction. The Duchess of Cambridge should have been impeccably dressed for the Cambridge’s tour of Cornwall. Kate not only failed to impress, the future Queen caused fashionistas around the world who emulate her style to roll their eyes.

Did Prince Charles refuse to increase Kate’s wardrobe allowance for this trip to the Duchy of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly and wearing the ugliest and most ill-fitting outfit she could find was Kate’s way of punishing her father-in-law?

Sure, embarrass dad while visiting one of his many domains! That’ll show Charles not to mess with Kate’s allowance for clothing, shoes, and handbags!

Because of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s work shy ways, many a report has said Prince Charles has not only refused to give Kate a bump in her wardrobe allowance but that the Prince of Wales has slashed it.

Princess Diana had a nearly limitless budget for clothing and shoes but the late Princess of Wales worked for it. Kate Middleton has been called the laziest Royal wife ever – if Kate wants a clothing budget to rival Diana’s, she needs to work for it.

Put aside the hideous blue and white patterned capris for a moment. You have to admit, the cream colored blouse is much, much too tight. Kate showed off her assets and who knew they were so ample? The world got an eyeful, that’s for certain! The navy blazer was not only mannish, but ill-fitting. Let’s not even discuss the ugly wedges Kate insists upon wearing. Please, Kate, never wear wedge shoes again. They’re ugly as sin.

The pink dress Kate donned on the first day of the Cambridge’s tour through Cornwall was tight-fitting and sexy. Some say the dress was ultra-conservative, but that’s just a matter of opinion. At least the dress was pretty.

That Kate Middleton can be a thrifty one, often wearing an outfit, including shoes and clutches, several times. But the future Queen shouldn’t look as if a minion had been sent to the local discount department store to rummage through the sale items.

Hopefully Prince Charles was embarrassed enough by Kate Middleton’s ghastly fashion choice during the Eden Project tour the future King will loosen the wardrobe purse strings again.
