Kate Middleton Officially The Laziest Royal In British Monarchy’s History: Only Worked 68 Days In 2016, Has Other Priorities?

If there’s one thing that Kate Middleton doesn’t like to do, it’s work. The rest of the royal family has once again put her to shame by putting in twice the amount of work she’s put in this year. Clearly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do the least amount of work compared to the rest of the royal family. That’s why Queen Elizabeth is giving them two choices: either shape up or ship out.

She knows that the future of the monarchy relies in William, Kate and Harry. After all, they are the ones who manage to generate the most publicity for the royal family. Kate instantly makes headlines whenever she steps out for one of her royal engagements.

Some critics have even called the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge ‘work-allergic.’ Whatever the case, William and Kate are making it clear that they have other priorities in life. In fact, new reports indicate that Kate Middleton only worked a total of 63 days in 2016. In comparison, Prince William put in 80 days while Kate’s brother-in-law Prince Harry worked 86 days.

What’s more, Prince Charles put in 139 days, Princess Anne worked 179 days, the Earl of Wessex had 118 days, and the Duke of York put 112 days of work in for the year. If that weren’t enough, Kate, William and Harry only put in 485 engagements combined compared to Prince Harry’s 469 royal engagements and appearances.

At this point, Kate Middleton has no other choice but to step things up, especially since Queen Elizabeth’s future is uncertain. If the Queen makes her retirement announcement in 2017, that means Prince William and Kate Middleton will have more work to do.

If that weren’t enough, sources say that the last thing Kate wants to do is move to London right now. She loves her family life in Norfolk. But if she moves to London, she knows she’ll be expected to make more public appearances. She won’t be able to hide behind closed doors or use her children as an excuse not to work. That’s why she’s willing to do whatever it takes to stay at Anmer Hall.
