Kate Middleton Panics as Prince William Admits To Struggling With Fatherhood

Kate Middleton is none too pleased over the fact that Prince William is openly revealing that he is struggling with not only raising his family, but with fatherhood altogether. The Duke of Cambridge got very candid about how he has had difficulties coping with his personal life behind closed doors, which of course includes his wife Kate and their two small children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Does Prince William’s admittance of discomfort with parenting augur poorly for Kate Middleton’s marriage?

In an interview with Vietnamese broadcaster VTV, he opened up about his misery on national television, much to Kate Middleton’s horror and humiliation. “I’ve struggled at times. The alteration from being a single independent man to going into marriage and then having children is life-changing. I adore my children very much, and I’ve learned a lot about myself and about family just from having my own children. It’s amazing how much you pick up just from those moments.”

Prince William also cites “highs and lows” during these last few years and even though he calls Kate a “fantastic wife and mother,” he does once again call his 3-year-old son Prince George “a little rascal” that keeps him on his toes.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Prince William has admitted to struggling with his family life. He’s hinted that Prince George is not only a handful, but that both he and his sister are spoiled in the sense that they get far too many presents. Both royal fans and critics can’t help but wonder if William is simply having a hard time adapting to Kate Middleton’s hands-on parenting style that she experienced during her own childhood.

Unlike Prince William and his brother Prince Harry, Kate Middleton was raised a commoner and is more in tune to the wants and needs of young children and that’s why she insists on doing most of the parenting herself, despite having a full-time nanny on board.

William simply doesn’t understand this as he grew up with a team on handlers who took care of everything for him, with his father and mother, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, playing minimal roles in his upbringing. Sure, they were there to show support, love and affection, but Prince William is simply not used to getting down on his hands and knees and actually ‘parent’ his children like normal people do.

It wouldn’t be surprising at all if William came home to a horrified wife as she simply wants him to stop humiliating her by talking about his grievances to the press. Do you agree? Also, check back with CDL for all the latest news on the royal family.
