Kate Middleton Tarnished Image: Luton Visit In Recycled Dress Desperate Attempt To Regain Positive Public Opinion

Kate Middleton has worked so hard to achieve the ‘I’m just a normal working mum despite my Royal title’ image and it was blown to pieces during the Cambridge’s luxury summer vacation in France. Is Kate using the visit in Luton to Youthspace and Keech Hospice as a way to rehab the tarnished Royal image?

We’re used to seeing the Duchess of Cambridge at events in previously worn dresses and footwear. What better way to win back positive public opinion than to return to her thrifty ways and recycle wardrobe pieces yet again while in Luton with Prince William on Wednesday, August 24?

Prince William hasn’t escaped criticism over his freebie hogging and work shy ways either. Seems someone got on William about rehabbing his majorly damaged image too.

The Duke of Cambridge donned the same sport coat worn to Wimbledon earlier this summer. The trousers, dress shirt and tie could have also come from the back of the Prince William’s closet too, who knows. No one really notices how William is dressed most of the time.

For the Cambridge’s tours of Youthscape, Keech Hospice and Hayward Taylor Group Kate wore a $225 LK Bennett ‘Iasa’ poppy dress previously worn during the Australian Tour 2014. The nude ’Fern’ pumps were also a repeat as was the ‘Nina’ clutch. Even the blue sapphire earrings have been seen over and over and over again.

Maybe Kate didn’t care what she wore to visit Luton on Wednesday? The Duchess of Cambridge didn’t take much effort with hair and make-up for the day. Perhaps Kate’s recycling the poppy dress and nude pumps had nothing to do with rehabbing the Royal image – could be Kate just didn’t care what she wore for a one-day visit to Youthscape and Keesh Hospice.

As most of the world praises Kate Middleton’s attempt at thriftiness and frugality when it comes to the Royal wardrobe there are many who are rolling their eyes. Here we go, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge trying to make everyone believe they’re just your normal every day working couple.

Wardrobe re-dos don’t negate the fact that Kate has no problems hopping aboard a helicopter to travel between Anmer Hall and Kensington Palace. All at taxpayer expense we might add.
