Meadow Walker $10 Million Cash Settlement From Roger Rodas Estate For Paul Walker Death Lawsuit

Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker was awarded $10 million in the lawsuit against the Roger Rodas estate. Roger Rodas was the driver of the Porsche car involved in the accident that took Paul’s life. Through Roger’s estate it was agreed that he was partially responsible for the crash..

TMZ reports that the settlement was made in 2014 but because Meadow’s legal team filed the lawsuit under the name Meadow W. the information was not readily available. The teen’s portion of the settlement is reportedly $7.2 million and the legal team lead by Jeffrey Milam will receive approximately $3 million.

The news of Meadow’s settlement with Roger’s estate comes just days after Kristine Rodas lost her lawsuit against Porsche. A judge determined that Rodas’ widow Kristine’s claims that the car was defective was unfounded and dismissed the case.

The teenager’s legal team will continue its legal battle against Porsche despite the fact that Rodas’ widow’s case was dismissed. Meadow Walker’s lawsuit seeks to hold the car manufacturer responsible for making a vehicle that was defective thus causing Walker’s death.

Jeffrey Milam released a statement through People saying, “The amount paid by the estate of Roger Rodas into a trust for Meadow Walker only covers a fraction of what her father would have earned as an international movie star had his life not tragically been cut short.”

Paul Walker died at the age of 40 in a fiery single car crash on November 30, 2013. The Fast and Furious’ actor was attending a Reach Out Worldwide charity event with Roger Rodas with whom co-owned the racing team Always Evolving.
