Miranda Lambert and Anderson East are definitely dating. The happy couple went official on New Year’s Day with a cute picture of Miranda and Anderson snuggling and from the looks of it, she’s not worried at all about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton.
As CDL reported previously, Miranda has a new man. Both Miranda Lambert and Anderson East posted an identical photo to Instagram on New Year’s Day. In it, the happy couple is seen all snuggled up in so much knitwear and flannel that it’s hard to tell what is going on.
All you can see under the piles of blankets and layers of clothes are the lovebirds faces and East’s arm around his new lady. Lambert and East both posted the same caption that proclaimed, “The snuggle is real” just days after In Touch confirmed their relationship.
Miranda and Anderson have reportedly been dating for about a month, although they have been able to keep the new romance pretty quiet. Lambert is treating this new relationship much differently than her ex-husband Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, who flaunt their fling everywhere with tons of PDA.
Some think Miranda and Anderson decided to go public on New Year’s Day because their relationship had already been confirmed by a loose-lipped family member. Apparently Anderson East’s stepfather Randall Ennis spilled the beans to In Touch.
It’s also possible that the snuggle fest was really Miranda Lambert’s reaction to Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s over-the-top Christmas trip PDA that Gwen shoved nauseatingly in everybody’s face.
It’s about time Miranda get a little diversion from Gwen and Blake’s very public courtship. Miranda and Anderson seem to be testing the waters with their fans. Rather than posting some super steamy NYE kiss pictures (which would have been way hotter) they opted to go for a fun-loving, cute picture.
Now that the relationship isn’t a secret anymore, is Miranda Lambert going to ramp up the affection and let Blake Shelton know what he’s missing? It would only be fair after the months and months that Shelton has been flirting shamelessly and piling on the PDA with Gwen Stefani.
