Backstreet Boy Nick Carter was arrested in Key West, Florida for getting into a bar fight that resulted in the police being called to the scene and taking Carter into custody. TMZ is reporting that Nick Carter was arrested the Hog’s Breath Saloon in Key West where he was there as a patron, not doing a celebrity appearance or anything special.
This news is going to come as nothing but terrible for Nick’s beautiful wife, Lauren Kitt. The couple had just announced that they are expecting their first child together in November 2015. He expressed how glad he is that he has time to prepare to be a father. Well, if he’s getting arrested and stuck behind bars, that isn’t the best place to get prepared for a baby.
Nick Carter said in the interview regarding fatherhood,
“It’s cool to have some time to prepare. I’ve really been thinking about living in the moment and enjoying every day that I have with my wife. I’m enjoying the process, because I’ve heard that your life will change and your priorities will change and that’s great. So we are enjoying the time we have right now.”
Might I suggest that you head home, if you can and spend that beloved time with your wife and stay out of the bar scene. I am sure that Lauren Kitt would appreciate it as well.
Who knows what the cause of the bar fight was that landed Mr Nick Carter in jail. Maybe some drunk dude called his mom fat. Maybe somebody got a little too pushy for a selfie or autograph with Nick.
Either way, now that Nick Carter is going to be a father, it’s time to grow up and get your priorities straight. You can’t be getting thrown in the slammer for nonsense, or anything for that matter. Time to set a good example and make your wife and child proud of you.

Update: TMZ reports that Nick Carter and friend Michael Papayans were beyond drunk and refused service at the Hog’s Breath Saloon – so they did what all good people do – they physically attacked the bar staff, got dragged outside, beaten up and arrested. Carter is still in jail and is obviously no longer clean and sober. Looks like DWTS was too much strain for the former teen star.
