Nina Dobrev is throwing some serious shade, and her fans aren’t very happy about it. The actress was slammed for apparently shading Ian Somerhalder and ‘The Vampire Diaries’ cast in a new cryptic message she left on her Instagram account.
Nina Dobrev shared a photo (see end of article) of the cast of her latest big screen movie, “xXx: Return of Xander Cage.” She captioned the photo with, “Now that’s a team I can work with. So excited to share the new poster for@xXx. Xander Cage is back!” Her social media followers immediately slammed her for shading ‘The Vampire Diaries’ cast. Many of her fans said right away that she was out of line for slamming her former co-stars.
So does this mean that Nina is feuding with the cast of ‘The Vampire Diaries?’ Did Ian Somerhalder block her comeback to the show? That’s what both fans and critics want to know.
It looks like Nina Dobrev won’t be making any surprise appearances on the last season of ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ Sources say that Nina and the producers simply couldn’t come up with a deal to bring her back on the show. If that weren’t enough, Ian Somerhalder wasn’t looking forward to seeing his ex-girlfriend Nina on the show again.
Ian hinted that Nina’s comeback was nearly impossible. He told Variety during an interview, “As a producer, I do have a lot of information and then there’s a lot of information I don’t have. I want the audience to be happy, but I also am very pro human. I don’t think these guys should have the ability to wreak havoc, kill everybody, ruin the lives of so many and then get out with a happy ending.”
Nina has not made any comments about the controversy. It’s without a doubt that fans are disappointed that Nina won’t be reprising her role as Elena Gilbert in the final season of ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ It was the show that helped make her a household name. But now that’s not going to happen.
