When will there be new episodes of Orange Is The New Black on Netflix? It was nearly a year ago when we all took a week off from work to binge watch Season 3 of OITNB in its entirety. And, fans of the Netflix prison drama have been waiting, rather impatiently, for the Season 4 premiere – we have SO MANY questions that need to be answered!
Orange Is The New Black 2016 spoilers tease that Season 4 will be available on Netflix on Friday June 17, so mark your calendars! Last Spring, Netflix surprised everyone and dropped the first episode of Season 3 a few days early – there is no news yet on whether or not they plan to do something similar this year with Season 4.
OITNB spoilers tease that fans will want to buckle their seatbelts, because Season 4 will be much darker than previous seasons. Darker? How much darker could the all female prison really get? A lot of OITNB fans have interpreted that as meaning there could be a ton of character deaths in Season 4. But, despite the shocking scene in the Season 3 finale in the shed, multiple sources have confirmed that Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) is still very much alive and is not going anywhere anytime soon.
Fan favorite Kate Mulgrew, who you most likely know as “Red,” dished these Orange Is The New Black spoilers at a recent event in Paris, “There’s a lot of laughs, but you must buckle your seatbelts, because she takes some very interesting turns. It gets darker. It’s get very dark. I think you will be very surprised, I think you will be wholeheartedly engaged, you will be riveted.”
OITNB spoilers have also indicated that in Season 4 of the Netflix series, the race divide in the prison will become much more evident. Another cast member, Selynis Levya (Gloria Mendoza), teased in a recent interview that OITNB Season 4 will be the “rise of the Latinas.” And, there are also a ton of new prisoners headed to Piper’s cell-block. Some of the new additions include: Shannon Esper, Jolene Purdy, and Jamila Velazquez.
