It looks as though Pippa Middleton is trying to steal her sister Kate Middleton’s thunder. Pippa surprised guests by showing up at the Charing Cross heart support group to talk about healthy eating and lifestyles this past weekend. As an ambassador of the British Heart Foundation, she met with guests and took the time to speak to them personally about their heart and health issues.
Many insiders say that Pippa might be trying to purposely steal the spotlight away from her sister. Kate has been pulling back from her royal engagements and even canceled an appearance at a charity gala at the last minute. That’s why Pippa is taking advantage of the situation and putting herself in front of the cameras.
Eyewitnesses say that bride-to-be Pippa chatted with guests about healthy eating at the Charing Cross heart support group at Grace Belgravia in London over the weekend. Pippa didn’t show up empty handed, either. She gave attendees special treats and even signed copies of her cookbook. Pippa was also a huge hit with her guests, as one attendee told Hello Magazine, “I had such a wonderful afternoon. Having Pippa there and getting to sample some of the tasty dishes was such a wonderful surprise and a lovely treat.”
Sources close to Pippa Middleton say that she wants to keep her name in the headlines in order to generate as much publicity as possible before her wedding. In fact, Pippa wants her wedding to James Matthews to be the London social event of the year. She doesn’t want to be in her sister’s shadow anymore and that’s why she wants the media to talk about her as much as possible.
