It looks as though Pippa Middleton’s ex has found the one, and it certainly wasn’t her. There’s a new report that says Pippa’s former lover, Alex Loudon, has proposed to his new girlfriend, Kristina Vanderheyden, leaving Pippa wondering exactly what went wrong in their own relationship and if Alex was never interested in marrying her in the first place.
Pippa Middleton initially got dumped by England cricketer Alex Loudon back in 2011 but the two reportedly rekindled their romance back in 2015, before Pippa met her current fiancé, James Matthews. Many even speculated that Pippa might have used Alex as a rebound boyfriend after breaking up with her previous long-term boyfriend, Nico Jackson. But realizing that she wouldn’t get an engagement ring from either one of them, Kate Middleton’s little sister moved on to James Matthews, who popped the all-important question back in July.
But now that Alex is getting married too – to a hotter version of Pippa no less – there’s no doubt that she’s feeling disappointed over the news. That’s not to say that Alex would be single forever, but considering just how hard she worked in getting a proposal, it’s definitely surprising for her to see Alex put a ring on another woman. But then again, Pippa should have known it was coming. Back in 2011, many reports swirled that Alex dumped Pippa simply because she wasn’t ‘marriage material’ for him.
Clearly, Alex Loudon wasn’t scared of the prospect of marriage. If he truly wanted to get married to Pippa Middleton, he would have proposed to her a long time ago. Apparently, he just didn’t want to settle down and be known as Mr. Pippa Middleton for the rest of his life. That, and the fact that Pippa is so obsessed with being a celebrity and using her sister Kate Middleton’s royal connections, that if Alex were to marry her, his personal life would end up being tabloid fodder for as long as their marriage would last.
Of course, that only leaves one question now: will Pippa try to race her ex to the altar by getting married first? Or better yet, will Pippa invite both Alex Loudon and his fiancé Kristina Vanderheyden (pictured below) to her wedding? Or is Pippa left hurt that she waited so long for Alex to propose just to see him do it for another woman only a few months after she got engaged herself?
