Tonight’s episode of “Ride With Norman Reedus” kicks off The Walking Dead fan favorite in Los Angeles – the first place that he ever felt like he belonged. When he’s not killing zombies, on the weekends he likes to ride his motorcycle. He’s embarking on a road trip up the Pacific Coast highway, starting off in Los Angeles and ending in Santa Cruz.

Before Norman leaves LA, he stops by a bike shop to meet up with his pal Roland Sans – a custom bike artist that is renowned for his work. Norman takes a tour of his shop, which has over 75 bikes in it. There’s one that Normal likes, he says it’s a “super zombie killer.” Roland likes to rebuild bikes and blend styles.

Roland takes Norman on a bike ride, and lets him ride one of his bikes, and he shows off and does stunts down the highway – he stands on his seat without holding on to his handlebars. They head up to Palos Verdes, and check out the beautiful scenery. The guys say their goodbyes and Roland lets Norman take his bike on his road trip as long as he promises to bring it back.

Next Norman heads to his friend Imogen’s shop to pick her up for the road trip. Imogen is from New Zealand, her family invented the skull ring over 40 years ago and she works at her family’s custom jewelry shop in LA. Before they leave, Imogen gives him a tour of the shop and she gives him a ring that she had promised to make him.

Norman and Imogen hit the road, they travel 100 miles to Santa Barbara and check in to a motorcyclist resort where they each get to bed down in their own personal airstreams.

The next morning, after a good night’s sleep, Norman and Imogen hit the road again – heading towards Santa Barbara. After a few hours they stop at a local beach to go dune buggying. There’s a huge mand made sand bowl and dunes, Imogen gets her buggy stuck and Norman has to come back to rescue her.

Norman and Imogen get back on the highway and drive for hours, when it gets dark they pull over in a small town called Cambria. They find what appears to be an abandoned house, but it turns out to be a tourist attraction called Nitt Witt Ridge. The owner explains that the owner that built the house was a mad man, and a garbage man. He used the town’s garbage to build the entire castle.

Day Three of their trip kicks off in Big Sur, after taking the massive Bixby Bridge (one of the largest in the world), they finally arrive at their destination – Santa Cruz. As soon as they hit town, they visit a bike shop called “Zero.” The owner gives them a tour of the shop, and shows them where they build the motorcycles, then Imogen and Norman get to take a new electric bike out for a spin. Roger takes Norman and Imogen to ride the electric bikes through the notorious Redwoods.

After they are done cruising through the Redwoods, Norman meets a diehard fan who lost his brother. Norman gives him an autograph and chats for a bit, and them they head to their destination – the streets of Santa Cruz. Of course, Norman gets stopped by more people that recognize them, one woman actually used to be a director on The Walking Dead.

The final stop of their road trip is a place called Recycle Garage, where Norman is going to appear on one of his favorite podcasts, “The Motorcycles And Misfits.” Norman sits down with the Misfits, and discusses what motorcycle he would use during the zombie apocalypse. Norman goes on to talk about how much riding his motorcycle has changes his life – he talks about his spontaneous trip to Nashville recently for the CMA awards. After the podcast, Norman, Imogen, and the Misfits sit around and talk and get to know each other and then they take a ride together before Norman and Imogen head back home to LA.

THE END!
