Scarlett Johansson, Romain Dauriac Marriage Trouble - ScarJo’s Stuck In France, Homesick For Hollywood: Quiet Divorce Planned?

Scarlett Johansson is one Hollywood actress who loves to keep her private life private so it’s no wonder that she’s trying to keep her marital problems under wraps. Yet, there’s new speculation that the actress’ two-year marriage to Romain Dauriac might be headed towards a divorce sooner rather than later.

Apparently, Scarlett Johansson and Romain Dauriac’s marriage problems stem from their living situation. The couple is currently living in France, where Scarlett Johansson is having a hard time adapting to her new homeland and worse, feeling homesick for Hollywood. This fact alone is causing a lot of friction in the couple’s marriage as Scarlett Johansson wants to move back to the United States while Romain Dauriac is insisting that they stay in his native France.

One source close to the situation told Naughty Gossip, “Scarlett has been trying very hard to adapt to his life but feels like she is being asked to make all of the changes. She misses living in the USA. She misses her family and friends and wants to come home. However, he made it clear from the start that he would not be happy moving to America. She doesn’t know what to do and is feeling very isolated.”

To make matters worse, Scarlett Johansson is raising her daughter, Rose Doherty, in a foreign land without her close circle of friends and family nearby. That right there would make any new mother want to pack up her things and leave, as raising a child without a support group would be tough on anyone, let alone a famous Hollywood actress. Plus, Scarlett Johansson is so far and detached from Los Angeles, that her career might take a huge blow if she’s not readily available for films and possible projects that have her name on it.

Scarlett Johansson’s Hollywood career depends on her accessibility and availability, and living in France has definitely dampened her chances of further success in the industry.

If Romain Dauriac is not willing to move back to the United States even though his wife is clearly homesick, it will only be a matter of time before Scarlett Johansson divorce reports start popping up in the headlines. Considering how the Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds divorce took an ugly turn for the actress, there’s no doubt that she is going to do whatever it takes to make this separation as quiet as possible.

Tell us CDL readers, do you think Scarlett Johansson should move back to the United States with or without her husband? Or should she stay in France and try to make her marriage work for the sake of her daughter? Let us know what you think!
