After nine weeks facing all types of temptations, the players face their biggest test yet: spending the entire week away from the ranch, eating, training and learning how to live their lives in the real world.

Every day will bring a new menu of choices – some healthy and some not – for how they’ll spend their time, so they have to rely on everything they’ve learned at the ranch to make smart decisions. #BiggestLoser starts on week 8 as the teams meet Bob for a challenge. He says they will send one player from each team home for the week which will be a huge temptation. He says that player’s weight will be the only one that counts for your team.

Bob says the winner of today’s challenge will choose who goes home for both teams. Felicia is worried she’ll be chosen. Bob says each team has to hold up a net while the other team loads heavy medicine balls into it. The team that drops the net loses.

Luis and Roberto each hold a net. Stephen comes to help and so does Rob. Felicia is now the only one carrying balls and Dolvett tries to get her to move faster. Their team has 400 pounds of balls.

Colby and Luis are holding the other net and then Team Jen wins it as Team Dolvett can’t hold the net. Jen has a suggestion for the team. Jen says they will send Luis from Team Jen. For Team Dolvett, they choose Roberto to face off against his brother.

Dolvett is shocked and happy. Luis says choosing Felicia would be too easy of a choice. Bob says he loves the twin twist. Bob reminds them each that only their weight will determine which team wins and someone will go home from the losing team.

Bob tells Luis and Roberto to catch their plane and they’ll see them at the weigh in. They fly out of LAX and head to Chicago. They talk about how when they flew to LA, they head to get seatbelt extenders to fit into their seats.

The guys make it home and we see them with their family. Roberto is excited to see his wife, parents and kids and says they are so happy to be there. They get hugs and kisses and Roberto’s wife says she fell in love with him at the heavier weight but is excited that he can do more now.

Lubina, Luis’ wife says he looks so different. She says their son was so happy to see his dad. Their father is crying and Roberto says he’s proud of them and that makes him happy since he’s their hero. Jacob says he’s so proud of his dad Roberto.

Luis says he lost 66 and Roberto says he’s lost 72. They tell them they’re going to be at the gym and eating healthy while visiting home. The family fixed a huge and fattening meal of Mexican eats. Their mom made pozole which is the twins’ favorite food.

They are both tempted but Roberto says he’s not touching it and digs into some veggies. Luis says he’ll do the veggies without dip. The rest of the family dishes up big helpings of the rich food that’s all around.

Back at the ranch, the teams are working out furiously. Dolvett encourages them and messes with Rob’s head to try and encourage him. Jen works her team too by showing them how much she dead lift. She gets Lauren to do a huge one and says she’s so strong.

She gets her to do a big dead lift too. Jen says Vicky was Lauren’s crutch and she’s worried about her progress without her mom there. They have a big talk about this and she asks if she’s done transforming or there’s more they need to address.

Lauren says it’s hard since her mom went home and she didn’t realize how much she needed her. She says she says it was nice to have her mom there supporting her. She cries and says it was like being a kid again.

Lauren says she is in debt, her son watches too much TV, and says she’s a screw-up in the family. Jen says she’s stronger than she knows and needs to embrace that and accept it. She says she has built a life that she doesn’t love and needs to make changes.

Luis and Roberto are at the high school working with some students. Xavier is a big kid and says Coach Roberto’s encouragement really matters. He says it’s amazing to see what he’s done. Bob shows up to the school to surprise them.

He says he wants to make sure they are still on track for the weigh-in. The students are excited to see Bob Harper there at their high school. Bob goes to the gym with them to do a major workout. The guys are excited he’s there to work them out.

Roberto says Jen and Dolvett are both a challenge but says Bob is more intense than either. He works them to the point of exhaustion. Luis says he can’t let his team down since they’re down to four people.

Bob tells them to do a hand stand. Roberto says no way could he do that eight weeks ago. Then Luis does one too then rolls over to a stop. The guys are excited to see that Bob is there to force them to work out. Roberto is determined to beat his brother at the weigh-in.

Jen is worried about them losing and works her team hard. Luis and Roberto do their workouts at home while the last chance workout goes on in the gym at the ranch. Dolvett works his team hard too. He worries that Roberto loses and who could be below the yellow line.

Now it’s weigh-in time. Bob brings the two teams in first and says it’s the ultimate test and calls in Luis and Roberto. Roberto is exhausted and nervous. Luis is worried that he did enough to beat his brother.

Bob says they’ll weigh everyone else first and there is a red line. The bottom person on the losing team will be instantly eliminated. Dolvett weighs in Rob first since that team has more players. Rob was at 262 and is now at 259. He lost just three pounds.

Rob says it’s not good and Dolvett says he’s not proud of that three since Rob usually puts up a bigger number. He says maybe his body is adjusting. Rob is at 1.15%. Felicia and Erin are up next. Felicia was at 191 and is down to 187. She lost four pounds which is 2.09%.

She’s safe from elimination. Erin was at 199 and she’s now at 196. She lost three pounds too. She’s at 1.51% and is worried she’s not safe with this low number. Next is Stephen and Colby. Stephen was at 253 and is now at 245. He lost eight pounds.

Colby went from 271 to 265 and lost six pounds. He’s at 2.11% and Stephen is at 3.66%. Lauren and Jacky are up next. Jacky went from 251 to 244 losing seven pounds. Lauren went from 194 to 187. She lost seven pounds. She’s thrilled. Lauren is at 3.61%.

Now it’s Luis and Roberto’s turn to weigh in. Jen says she knows it was a gamble to send them home together. She says they always weigh in very close. Roberto went from 276 down to 265. He lost 11 pounds. That’s 3.99%.

Luis was at 244 and has to lose 10 pounds or more to keep Erin safe. He’s down to 233. He also lost 11 pounds. That’s 4.5%. That will send Rob home and Roberto is sad to see him go and tells him he’s been a great mentor to him.

Bob tells Rob he’s eliminated and Rob says this has been the most wonderful experience of his life. He cries and says he met some zany wonderful people that he will stay friends with for the rest of his life. Bob reminds him he can still fight for the at-home prize.

Bob announces to the team that teams are over and it’s singles from here on out and hands out the t-shirts. Erin is thrilled but says it’s nerve wracking. Jacky is happy she and her husband are both still there but says that could put a target on them.

Bob says the gym is closed this week and so is the kitchen. He says now they face real world temptations. He says they still have access to their trainers but they will be in the real world. Felicia is nervous about this.

Bob asks Luis if he wants to share any tips since he was just at home and he says no. They each get a car with a list of things they can do today and are told the cars are theirs for the week. Bob says go learn some lessons.

They get the choice of a local vineyard for a wine tasting or to work out with a trainer. 20 miles from the ranch, Jen is prepping to work out. Erin and Felicia show up then so does Lauren. Luis and Roberto show up too. Jen hopes they all show up.

Stephen isn’t happy that his wife Jacky chose the wine tasting. It’s Colby’s birthday so he decided that he deserved the wine and safari outing. He and Jacky hang out and talk about how this is better than burpees.

Jen tries to get Erin to really push it hard and push the treadmill to as hard as it can go. She gets her to turn it up all the way and run her butt off. Erin was thrilled. Jen hugs her when she’s done and says she has to believe in herself. She tells her she’s so proud of her.

Erin says she wants to be able to do this in the real world but it’s scary. Colby and Jacky are greeted by the host to start the wine tasting. They talk about balance and Colby says you only live once. They set down some cheeses for the wine.

Jacky says she wants to experience the wine but doesn’t want to overdo it. They get smoky bacon cheddar dip. He spreads a thin amount on one cracker and says it’s the most beautiful place he’s been. He says he knows he’s missing a big burn and has to get back to work.

It’s day three of the real world experience and it’s time for a challenge with Bob. They will race through a slalom course, pull in eight sandbags on a rope, then take them across a balance beam to a wheelbarrow then take them to the finish line and spell out the prize with the bags.

Roberto goes down and knocks Colby down. Luis has a lead and starts with his sandbags. They all start pulling their bags. Erin is close to Luis. She’s the first one to make it to the balance beam then falls again and again.

They are all struggling with this – Lauren is the first to make it across. Felicia was a former gymnast and is rapidly catching up thinks to her good balance. Luis figures out he can do better if he runs. He takes the lead.

Erin looks at the letters on the bags and so does Felicia. They both think it spells immunity. Luis gets his final bag and takes off with his wheelbarrow. Felicia is close behind. He starts spelling. Felicia has to hurry.

Felicia wins it by a hair even though one of her bags fell. He had one of his messed up and she made it to the mat because he had to straighten it out. Bob says it was close. Luis curses to lose by that little amount. Roberto asks what happened.

Roberto says Luis gave the weakest one immunity. Erin hugs her and says what Roberto said was crappy. Erin says Felicia is clearly the winner. She tells Roberto to shut up and have respect for women. He tells her to shut up.

Roberto says he’s sorry and he was just in the heat of the moment. Bob tells Felicia she has immunity and the others will face a yellow line. The ladies head out to Beso for dinner. Felicia is immune so she can have dinner and a treat. She’s planning on having shots.

The guys head to a pub for a boy’s night out. They ask the bartender the lowest calorie drink and he recommends a lager. The ladies talk about how they’d like to see Roberto proposes a guy’s alliance.

Stephen shakes his head yes but Luis isn’t sure he means it because his girl is on the other team. Felicia orders more shots and the others worry since they don’t have immunity. They are dancing and acting crazy. They all decide to go get piercings. Erin says Felicia has the worst ideas.

Now it’s day four in the real world. Jacky is working out at 5 am and trying to be accountable to work out without her trainer. Luis and Roberto find out they can go parasailing over the ocean or work out with a trainer.

Felicia chooses parasailing since she has immunity. The guys show up to meet Dolvett at the boxing match. Erin shows up too and he gives her a big hug but she’s hung over. The other three women are out parasailing.

Jacky says her weight always held her back and her kids were always disappointed. Dolvett works them hard. Luis hopes the girls not showing up means they’ll be below the yellow line. Dolvett asks Stephen where the hell his wife is.

Stephen says focus on him. Stephen says the girls vs boys alliance is a good idea but he hopes he and Jacky are both above the yellow line. Erin says she may have crossed a line by choosing to train over being with the women, but it’s important to her.

Dolvett says everyone is fired up and are really working it. Dolvett says you have to do this for you, not your wife, friend or brother. He says it’s better than parasailing but who knows. Felicia is so happy to be up in the air. Jacky says this is great.

Jacky says she has worked hard this week and Lauren is having an anxiety attack about not being at Dolvett’s workout and fears she made the wrong choice. She worries this outing could send her home.

Now it’s weigh-in time and Dolvett says tonight is going to be a reality check for them. Jen says they have to face the consequences of their choices from this week. Bob tells them the number we see is 100% on them. There’s a yellow line and the two lowest are eligible to go home.

Bob asks Roberto and Felicia about their spat at the challenge. He says there are no hard feelings. Felicia and Colby weigh first even though she’s immune. Felicia was at 187 and she’s now at 185. She lost two pounds.

Colby missed one workout for the wine tasting and now we’ll see how that went. He was at 265 and is now down to 258. He lost seven pounds. He’s at 2.64%. Next is the twins. Roberto was at 265 and is down to 259. He lost six pounds. He’s disappointed with his 2.26%.

Luis was at 233 and is now at 232. He lost just one pound. He’s devastated. He says he choked this week. He’s at just .43% even though he did both workouts.

Jacky is nervous since she skipped both. She started at 244 and now is at 238. She lost six pounds so she’s safe with a 2.46%. Stephen is next and he was at 245 and is at 238. He lost seven pounds and is also safe at 2.86%.

Last is Erin and Lauren. First is Lauren who was at 187 and she has to lose five pounds or more. She’s now at 184. She lost just three pounds. That’s 1.6%. Luis is below the yellow line now. It will be Lauren or Erin with him.

Erin says she went to both workouts but know that’s not always enough. She was at 196 and must lose four pounds or more. She’s at 188. She lost eight pounds that puts her at the top of the board with 4.08%.

Lauren and Luis are below the yellow line and may be sent home. Jen is upset and says she doesn’t want to see either of them go home. Bob takes them all to the vote. Lauren hopes she won’t be sent home. There are four women and four men voting.

In case of a tie, the lowest weight loss percentage will go home which means Luis. Roberto votes for Lauren. Erin votes for Luis. Colby votes for Lauren. Felicia votes for Luis. Stephen votes for Luis and says he did it because he’s a strong competitor.

Bob says he’s still eligible for the at-home prize. Luis is upset to be going home and hugs his twin brother and says leaving Roberto behind is the hardest part of leaving the ranch. He lost 76 pounds in nine weeks on the ranch.

Since going home, Rob lost is at 226 and has lost 100 pounds. He says he was in a bad place when he went to Biggest Loser. He talks to the doctor who says he’s got 15 extra years of life at least based on the changes he’s made. His wife Debbie says it’s like a honeymoon again.

Rob says it’s a do over in life and now he’s a better father, husband and grandfather. He says it’s possible for anyone to do this. Luis went from 308 down to 203. He lost 105 pounds and looks drastically different. He says he and Roberto were overweight since they were kids.

He says now the kids he teaches can look up to him now. He says he likes the Planet Fitness express circuit. He says he’s excited and Biggest Loser changed his life and he’s ready to attack the world.

THE END!
