The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) is coming back to Los Angeles with a goal in mind. She wants her old job back, but there’s undoubtedly more to the story. It appears B&B intends on keeping everyone out of the loop on Ivy’s true motives for now.
Even Ashleigh Brewer isn’t entirely sure of Ivy’s current agenda. In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Brewer opened up about her character’s sneaky side and how it might affect her future. “I’m only getting drip-fed week-by-week…the way that it’s being written is that she has come back for a reason, but I don’t know what that reason is yet,” Brewer said.
It sounds like Ivy has had a lot on her mind during her time away. Brewer implied that Ivy must’ve had a moment of clarity or at least an unpleasant experience that pushed her back to the U.S. “I don’t know what happened to her in Australia, but something must’ve happened for her to want to move back to LA,” Brewer said.
Of course, you may have heard about Ivy’s upcoming partnership with Quinn (Rena Sofer). We mentioned that Ivy wants to resume her old position at Forrester Creations. Quinn isn’t Ivy’s favorite person in the world, but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do! Quinn is the best (and perhaps only) return route to a job at FC.
“At the moment, Quinn is a good ally to call upon to get Ivy back in with the company so she can put roots back down,” said Brewer. Once Ivy has those roots, anything is possible. In fact, Ivy’s alliance with Quinn could be helping her achieve her hidden goals.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn will attempt to use Ivy to her advantage. We know that Ivy will support Eric (John McCook) and Quinn’s relationship, so she might be instructed to drum up support from other family members as well. Quinn is determined to stay in Eric’s life and that would be easier if his loved ones could accept her.
However, Quinn will probably have a more important task for Ivy. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say inspiration will strike. Quinn will figure out a way to discourage Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) rekindled romance.
How will Ivy fit into this plan? Will Ivy try to woo Liam? Liam obviously wasn’t in love with Ivy the last time she was in town. All Liam can think about right now is Steffy. It’s going to be awfully tough for Ivy to steal Liam away unless Steffy fully devotes herself to Wyatt (Darin Brooks). In light of the Quinn and Eric situation, that doesn’t seem likely right now either.
There might be another method Ivy could use though. If Ivy plants clues and makes it look like Liam has moved on, it might drive Steffy back toward Wyatt (Darin Brooks). Sometimes implying something is just as powerful as actually pulling it off.
