The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, July 13, tease that Rick (Jacob Young) will spend some time with Maya (Karla Mosley) and their daughter. He’ll shower them with love, but he’ll quickly shift his focus back to business. Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) job is up for grabs and Rick intends on taking advantage of this opportunity.
When Maya hints that she’s feeling a little sorry for Ridge, Rick will insist that Ridge doesn’t deserve her sympathy. Goodness knows Ridge isn’t going to get any kind of compassion from Rick. Unfortunately, it appears Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) won’t be too understanding either.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will try to comprehend what was going through Ridge’s mind. She’ll ask if Ridge thought Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) would think he was less of a man because of his vasectomy. It really wasn’t a big deal.
Steffy just won’t get it. She’ll think this is something they should’ve have talked about and worked through from the beginning. Ridge might explain his fertility issues, but that still doesn’t excuse the fact that he tried to keep Thomas (Pierson Fode) in the dark about his own son. It sounds like Ridge’s family is pretty fed up with him right now.
Meanwhile, Eric (John McCook) will consult Quinn (Rena Sofer) as he tries to make a decision about the CEO position. It’s amusing that Eric thinks Quinn is a good source of advice, but OK! We’ll go with it! Eric feels like he has no one else to turn to at the moment, so we can give him a pass on this error in judgment.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric will hate that he’s being forced to play favorites. He knows whatever choice he makes will leave some family members bitter. If Ridge is truly being ousted, that means Rick, Thomas and Steffy are the new candidates. Eric just won’t know what to do.
Quinn will happily offer some guidance. Wednesday’s B&B preview video shows Quinn shouting, “You built this business, so take it back!” Eric will consider his lover’s words and attempt to reach the appropriate conclusion.
Hmm…what is Quinn proposing exactly? Does she want Eric to come out of retirement and run it himself? Is Quinn urging Eric to choose a new direction by giving Steffy the position? Quinn is definitely scheming here. She always has an ulterior motive.
It’s clear that Quinn is trying to sleep her way to the top. She wants to gain acceptance into the Forrester clan and win over Steffy in the process. Of course, plans could change if Liam (Scott Clifton) continues his pursuit of Steffy. Bad news is already brewing.
Steffy had better think long and hard before dumping Wyatt (Darin Brooks). Quinn is sure to be gunning for her if her baby boy gets hurt. We’ll give you updates on the trouble ahead.
