The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that another round of drama is on the way for the Forrester family. When Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) agree that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) should be named CEO, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Rick (Jacob Young) will be stunned. They’ll be completely blindsided by the news that they’re being passed over for the job.
Ridge was obviously hoping that he could reclaim the throne. He wants Steffy to succeed, but he doesn’t won’t think she’s ready to take on this role. Ridge will believe he’s the only one who can keep the family company running smoothly.
Rick also thought he’d have a chance to shine again. He’s always felt like he was unfairly kicked out of the top spot. Rick was looking for redemption. He’ll be outraged when he learns he’s not going to get a shot at it. Things will become quite strained between Eric and his brood.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric will assure his sons that it’s nothing personal. He might argue that Steffy can keep Forrester Creations current. Eric wants some fresh blood in charge.
Since Wyatt (Darin Brooks) will be the head of PR, Eric will think he can help Steffy promote a trendy image. They need to keep up with what their competitors are doing. Ridge will probably have to hold his tongue somewhat. He can’t complain too much since his own daughter is taking over.
Rick, on the other hand, may hold nothing back. B&B fans know Rick can get pretty wound up sometimes. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers state that Rick and Eric will get into a huge argument after the announcement. Rick will make it clear that he feels snubbed.
Plus, Rick won’t approve of Quinn’s permanent position at Forrester. She’ll be taking over as the president while Ridge and Rick will serve as the co-vice presidents. That’s just one more thing for Rick to be angry about. He’ll be working under Quinn and he’ll have the same title as his brother. Rick certainly won’t be a happy camper.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Rick will stand up for himself. He’ll point out that he’s put in a lot of hours for this company. Rick will think he should get a little recognition. He won’t believe Quinn deserves a spot on their team either.
Eric won’t appreciate Rick’s rant. As this battle gets out of control, Quinn will realize she needs to step in. We can’t forget that Eric’s last confrontation landed him in the hospital. Eric’s illness was the primary reason for his collapse, but the stress couldn’t have helped the situation.
Quinn will put a stop to Rick’s outbursts and insist that he needs to leave. She’ll throw Rick out of the house to make sure Eric calms down. When it comes to Eric’s health, Quinn isn’t willing to take risks. Eric will be grateful for Quinn’s concern, but he’ll continue to stew about his family members.
