The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, December 7, tease that Liam (Scott Clifton) will try to get through to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Now that a CEO offer is on the table, Steffy is seriously considering it. It’s a great opportunity to take her career to the next level.
Liam won’t think that any good can come from this. Since Quinn (Rena Sofer) is involved, Liam knows there’s going to be trouble. He’ll want Steffy to understand that she’s being manipulated. Liam will argue that Quinn wants to get Steffy on her side. This is a bribe and there could be some unknown strings attached.
Steffy will understand Liam’s frustration, but she won’t think she should turn this down. Quinn influenced the situation, but she’s not the only one who wants Steffy in charge. Eric (John McCook) also feels like Steffy is the best person for the job.
Liam might contend that Eric has been brainwashed by Quinn. He would do anything for her. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will disagree with Liam’s opinion. She’s not happy that Eric chose Quinn, but he made that decision just like he decided who should be CEO. Eric knows what he wants and Steffy is his top candidate.
Liam will maintain that Quinn must be up to something. Wednesday’s B&B preview video shows Liam shouting, “At the very least, she’s trying to broker a reconciliation between you and my brother!” Steffy will assure Liam of her love. She’ll promise that she won’t fall for Quinn’s tactics, but Liam won’t be certain of that.
Meanwhile, Eric will give Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) updates on his decision. He’ll announce that Steffy may be taking over the CEO position at the company. Ridge will be stunned when he hears that his own daughter is jumping ahead of him. He won’t think that Steffy has what it takes to be in charge of Forrester yet.
Ridge will admit that he would like to reclaim the throne with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) right beside him. The Bold and the Beautiful preview clip shows Ridge declaring, “I think Brooke and I should lead this family…this company into the future.” Ridge will think Steffy needs to spend some time working her way up.
Eric will hold firm on his decision. He’ll believe Steffy has all the intelligence and savvy she needs to keep Forrester Creations moving forward. No matter how much Ridge protests, Eric just isn’t going to budge.
Later this week, Ridge will attempt another strategy. He’ll team up with Liam to talk Steffy out of accepting the job. They’ll both provide warnings about Quinn and the stress she’ll inevitably cause. It’s hard enough being a CEO without a bitter rival breathing down your neck.
