The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will continue to worry about Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) being in charge. It’s no secret that Ridge wants to be on the Forrester throne, but this is bigger than that. Ridge believes Quinn (Rena Sofer) is crazy and could be capable of anything.
Of course, Ridge has also seen Quinn naked now. That could spark an idea at some point. He noted that it almost felt like Quinn was flirting with him. Then, Eric (John McCook) brought up the age difference during a chat with his love. Eric suggested that some people might think Quinn belongs with someone Ridge’s age.
The writing is on the wall here. If The Bold and the Beautiful doesn’t do a Quinn and Ridge hookup or at least something along those lines, it will be a missed opportunity. Perhaps Ridge will see this as a chance to drive Quinn and Eric apart. He could seduce Quinn in hopes of knocking her off the pedestal Eric put her on.
Ridge might even get Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) permission to do this. After all, Brooke and Katie (Heather Tom) want to pry Quinn out of Eric’s clutches. Let’s say Ridge promises that it’ll just be a simple sham. He can play the part of a lusting admirer. Ridge could make a few moves and get Quinn right where he wants her.
That’s when the plan could go horribly wrong. What if Ridge actually fell for Quinn? It’s a common tale on soaps. B&B fans know that a love charade can quickly become the real deal. Quinn might develop feelings for Ridge, too. She loves Eric, but she could still be tempted by his handsome son.
Then again, maybe Quinn could just come close to falling for Ridge’s trick. She could turn him away at the last second. Ridge might realize that Quinn truly loves Eric. Nevertheless, everything would surely blow up somehow. Brooke might figure out that Quinn is the one Ridge is dreaming of.
This storyline could have some serious potential. The aftermath of an affair or even a near affair could be quite juicy. Steffy would be appalled and Eric would be devastated. He would feel betrayed and might kick Ridge right out of the company. Eric’s relationship with Quinn would be in jeopardy as well.
Bill (Don Diamont) would also have a shot at winning Brooke back. There would be plenty of interesting twists and turns. Would you like to see Ridge pursue Quinn for whatever reason?
