The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, December 9, tease that Liam (Scott Clifton) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) will face off. They’ll spar over the job offer that Eric (John McCook) just gave Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). This was Quinn’s idea and Liam knows she has ulterior motives.
Quinn will insist that she’s turned her life around, but Liam won’t believe it for a second. He’ll think Quinn is putting on a show for Eric’s benefit. Liam will hint that the charade will fall apart eventually. He’ll be confident that everyone will see Quinn’s true colors.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn will wonder if Liam is trying to hold Steffy back. She’ll feel like it’s wrong for Liam to make Steffy miss out on a great career opportunity. Friday’s B&B preview video shows Liam stating, “I’m very proud of her and she absolutely deserves to be CEO, but having you attached to the offer is a huge red flag that I see even if she doesn’t.”
Quinn will believe Steffy needs to make this choice on her own. She may appreciate Liam’s advice, but that doesn’t mean she has to take it. However, it seems Quinn could have some doubts about her plans for Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Steffy’s reunion. She’ll suspect this could be tougher than she thought.
Meanwhile, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will remind Steffy that this offer is coming straight from Quinn. She simply roped Eric into it. Steffy will argue that her granddad is behind her 100 percent. Ridge won’t think Eric would feel that way without Quinn whispering in his ear.
To avoid the potential chaos, Ridge will want Steffy to bow out gracefully and give her father a chance to lead the company. He’ll think he can handle Quinn. Later, Liam will come back with updates on his conversation with the enemy. He’ll be more convinced than ever that Steffy should turn down this job.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that the lack of support will irritate Steffy. She’s ready to take over at Forrester Creations despite the risks. A frustrated Liam will beg Steffy to listen. He’ll suggest that the new CEO will see Quinn at her absolute worst. Liam won’t want Steffy to be on the receiving end of Quinn’s ruthlessness.
Back at the mansion, Katie (Heather Tom) will pop in with a present for Eric. She’ll thank her friend for all of the assistance he’s provided lately. Eric managed to get Will (Zane Achor) in the school Katie was hoping for. He also played a role in snatching up the house next door.
Katie will be grateful for the company Eric has given her as well. He’s kept Katie from feeling so isolated. Eric will contend that Katie is welcome there anytime, but she’ll note that Quinn wouldn’t agree. Just outside the room, Quinn will look jealous as she eavesdrops. She’ll fear that Katie is making moves on her man.
