“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers include news that former “The Young and the Restless” Chris McKenna [Detective Harding] has moved on to “B&B.” Chris tweeted the good news on Wednesday, January 20 and it took both “Y&R” and “B&B” fans by surprise. There are absolutely no details at all just yet about Chris’s character.
The tweet included a photo of McKenna on the set of the CBS daytime dramas and it was captioned, “First day of work on a new gig. I could swear I’ve been here before. #YR @BandB_CBS #AcrossTheHall.”
What, wait a minute!!! Chris McKenna is now a “B&B” cast member? How did this slip under the radar? “The Young and the Restless” AND “The Bold and the Beautiful “ fans ALL want some answers! A reply to McKenna’s tweet may provide some answers – or just cause more questions!

Is it time to give Brooke [Katherine Kelly Lang] a brand new love interest? Do “B&B” fans really want a rehash of Brill? Quinn [Rena Sofer] has Deacon [Sean Kanan], Katie [Heather Tom] has Bill [Don Diamont]. Please, please put the hot new hunk with Brooke!
If Chris’s character isn’t going to be paired with Quinn, Brooke or Katie…it appears as if Steffy [Jacqueline MacInnes Wood] might be single soon. Could Chris McKenna have been cast as a hot new male model at Forrester who catches Steffy’s eye? That would certainly be a nice change from the merry-go-round that is Steffy and Liam [Scott Clifton].
There’s always the possibility that Ivy [Ashleigh Brewer] will try to dig her claws into the new guy before Steffy gets to him. “The Bold and the Beautiful” tapes approximately six to eight weeks in advance.
