Ben and Agent Dao have reached an agreement. Ben agreed to help the FBI and Interpol bring down the Kensington Firm although in exchange he wanted immunity and Alice protected. However, Alice didn’t want to go into protection or run away. She said that such a move would make Rhys suspicious so she thought that it would be best if she stayed and act as if everything was normal. Even if it wasn’t.

Only Alice has been continuing her therapy sessions and she noticed something odd about her therapist. She noticed that the therapist was wearing the same necklace that Ben had given to the princess. So that’s when she connected the dots and knew that she should stop talking about Ben during her sessions because she almost revealed the deal that Ben made to turn state’s evidence.

So Alice later warned Ben and Agent Dao about Margot. She told them that she revealed practically everything else besides the deal Ben made, but that Margot still knew too much. Yet neither Ben nor Dao thought Margot was going to be a problem after Alice warned them. Ben had said that he could handle Margot and that she wasn’t going to cross a line anymore so Ben had thought everything with Margot was going to be done.

But Alice thought differently. Alice had spoken about her situation to her friends back at the firm and they were with her in wanting revenge. Margot had after all tried to take everything from all of them, not just Alice. So they all agreed that Alice should keep seeing Margot during her therapy sessions and that they were going to using those sessions as a way to get inside of Margot as well as plant a tracker on her.

And yet Ben had spoken with someone. He had talked to Reggie and had tried to warn Reggie that he should leave town for a while because the family was going down. However, Reggie took that to mean that Ben was going to try and bring down Rhys and his mother Sybil. Sybil had abruptly come town and Sybil was the Kensington Firm.

Nothing happened without Sybil’s approval and so Sybil ran things although she had come to town because Margot had stolen her counterfeiter. Though the matriarch was willing to overlook that once she seen how stubborn Margot was going to be, but she had told Rhys and Ben that they could make up for their mistake by doing another job for her. She wanted them to get invited to a wedding.

And for some reason Sybil refused to tell them why they had to go to the wedding or what was going happen at said wedding until they secure their own invitations. But somehow Rhys had managed to talk both bride and groom out of wanting a wedding to begin with because he had said that paperwork and property shouldn’t come before love. So while Ben was busy cleaning up after Rhys, it was Reggie that had gone behind Ben’s back to betray him.

Reggie had gone to Margot and had told her that Ben was planning on taking down her family. So Reggie had thought that Margot would be pleased and would want the both of them to join Ben in doing so yet Margot’s actual reaction surprised and disappointed him. Margot said that all three could take each other out. And that would North America clear for them to take over.

And so Reggie hadn’t liked her plan, but he was willing to go along with it. He and Margot stayed under the radar while he learned how to counterfeit from Margot’s new partner. So he made himself busy he Margot helping Leah turn plain paper into two million dollars and their later plan to sell it to the highest bidder would have worked if it hadn’t been for Alice. Alice who had tracked them back to their hideout, saw some of the fake counterfeit money they had left behind, and realized they were going to have to get rid of that money quickly.

So Alice and Val set up a sting with their people and they caught Margot before she was able to escape with either of her partners. But Dao had some strange ideas about what to do with Margot next. Dao it seems hadn’t wanted to just arrest Margot, he wanted her to turn in evidence as well. And so he set in Ben to speak with her because he thought Ben could convince her to turn on her own family.

Ben however botched it all up. Ben could only speak to the woman he knew and betrayed. So Margot didn’t want to hear anything he had to say much less speak with Agent Dao. She just wanted to hurt Ben and therefore she told Alice about him through the one-way mirror that Ben couldn’t be trusted. Especially as it had been Ben’s idea to target Alice’s firm.

And that hadn’t been something that Alice had even considered.

Alice had simply trusted Ben and took him at his word when he said everything had been Margot’s idea. So eventually Alice did wonder if she had been wrong to trust Ben again because if he had still been lying to her then it wouldn’t have mattered if he was helping the FBI or not. All of that could have been for him and immunity.

Yet, just as Alice thought of taking a step back, Val talked to her and she said that Margot couldn’t be trusted. Margot had every reason to lie and she had tried to pull a gun on Alice. So Val said that Margot wasn’t in the best position to judge Ben and that if Ben made Alice happy then she would stop judging him too.

Alice though had been left wavering. She loved Ben, but was considering the future of their relationship when suddenly Rhys showed up at her apartment. Rhys and more importantly his mother had found out that Ben had become a snitch after they had Margot broken out of lock up. So Rhys was going to keep a very close eye on Alice while Ben carried out his last con for the Firm at that Wedding.

Though oddly neither Ben nor Alice ended up doing what Sybil wanted them to. Ben had gone running to Agent Dao and Val at the first chance he could because he wanted their help in finding Alice and ensuring that she was safe. So he was in the middle of trying to convince Val to work with him when Alice honestly strolled right into the room.

Alice had apparently worked out an agreement with Rhys who revealed he didn’t want Ben to die or for his mother to kill Ben after the wedding. So Rhys agreed to walk away and he had told no one in his family that Alice was no longer in custody. However, Alice felt more sure than ever that she had to protect Ben and get him away from that family so she had come up with a plan. She convinced her firm to help Agent Dao catch the family in the act of stealing from one of the wealthiest people in the world and she also talked everyone into believing that Ben could be trusted to do what he had to.

Only Ben surprised even her. Ben had heard the plan and had figured out that Alice was putting herself in danger so he gave her firm fake invitations. Apparently Ben and Rhys had talked the happy couple into handing over the wedding to them. So Ben and Rhys had access to everything and they had given Sybil acess to everything as well.

Sybil you see wanted to rob the groom’s mother. Who happened to be another gangster, but the one that ran North America. So Sybil needed to get rid of her rival in order to take control and her plan had been to steal the other’s money and replace it with counterfeit. That way allies would begin to turn on a longtime friend and go running to Sybil.

But Alice had found out where the real wedding was being held and her team had showed at the venue ready to make a deal. Alice, Rhys, and Ben had told the happy couple about the groom’s controlling mother and it turns out that had been the perfect wedding present because they then had something to hold over the older woman. And she could help them catch both Sybil and Margot. So it had been the perfect trap and fortunately it had later ensnared Sybil in the act, just not Margot.

Margot had taken all the real money and had run off to become the new head of the Kensington Firm. So the new head of a criminal organization had made a call to the FBI with a tip. The tip that Alice had a stolen painting hanging up on her wall. And naturally the FBI just had to comply so they ended up finding the painting as well as several objects that led back to Alice being a thief.

However, Alice had been planning on fleeing town with Ben and Rhys because Ben’s immunity fell through when they could no longer trust the FBI. So the guys soon noticed that Alice was running late and, when Margot called them to gloat, that had been it. Ben knew that something was wrong so he left Rhys to run while he went to Alice. And later he turned himself in for the stolen painting when he saw that Alice was getting arrested for it.

THE END!
