Stef was told that she had a pre-cancerous cells on last week’s episode of “The Fosters”. And unfortunately what that means is that her condition has a high probability of developing into an actual breast cancer one. That is if she doesn’t take care of it in time. So the fact that what she has is not technically cancer just yet has caused certain problems back at the house.

Apparently Lena and and Stef’s mother disagree about Stef’s treatment. Lena wants Stef to take a more noninvasive approach because she doesn’t really want anyone cutting her wife but Stef’s mother Sharon on the other hand wants Stef to take drastic measures. Sharon doesn’t believe that cancer or in this case precancerous cells should be treated lightly.

And so while those two fight about what is best for Stef, Stef is busy checking up on Mike. Mike had called in sick to work and that wasn’t typically like him. But as it turns out Mike went to AJ’s grandmother’s funeral because he knew her grandsons wouldn’t be able to make it

AJ had chosen to leave town with his brother last week and he had told no one that was he was going. Therefore, it must have come as rude shock for Mike though in the end he didn’t tell anyone about it right away which gave the boys just enough time to leave town. And get away from Stef who would have prosecuted AJ’s brother for nearly killing her two kids in a hit and run.

Stef had also shown up for the funeral and didn’t take her long to make an educated guess about why neither AJ nor his brother was there. But their disappearance had upset because it left her in the dark about one more thing and that goes for Callie as well.

Callie and AJ had gotten close and, in his own way, he was helping her get over Brandon. But now he’s gone and someone had posted a message on ‘Fost and Found’ that said they knew Callie slept with her foster brother. So naturally Callie freaked out when she read it and then demanded to know who Brandon had spoken with. And he said he told no one.

He said a secret stopped being a secret when you starting telling other people. And Callie had definitely told someone. She had told her old friend from their group home days that she had slept with Brandon yet Daphne swears she hadn’t passed that information on. So Daphne asked Callie if the person that posted that message might have been talking about Liam.

Liam had been Callie’s foster brother as well and he had never been convicted of raping Callie. So someone who might know of their past or even be friends with him could have asked about that situation thinking it was one thing when really it was the other. Yet it didn’t matter if that person was talking about Liam or Brandon – the question alone made Callie questioned whether or not she wanted to be a spokesperson.

Callie had teamed up with a corporation last week in order to extend ‘Fost and Found’ and the woman behind it wanted turn Callie into the face of the company. But Callie feels like a fraud. She knows that her relationship with Brandon crossed a line yet her head hasn’t been right since.

Meanwhile Brandon has actually been doing his best to move on. He likes the woman he works with and Cortney has been keeping his mind off of other things. Including Callie and the drama surrounding that. As well as the rest of his siblings because the other three are giving problems.

Mariana was running for Junior Class President and she wanted the job because she wanted to make a real difference. Though Mariana’s best friend Lexy had moved back to town and the other girl also wanted to be Junior Class President. She originally wanted the job because she had been jealous of the way Mariana had moved on without her but now she wanted to do it for herself.

And after a nasty debate out on the quad, Mariana came to support her decision. She understood that befriending Emma had hurt Lexy yet one of them had to stop the tic for tac. So Mariana apologized and Lexy admitted her doubts about their friendship. It seems she had still wanted to be Mariana’s best friend and just needed to be reassured of that.

But Jesus was the one caught in the middle of the battle of his exes. He had run into Emma because she was Mariana’s campaign manager and he run into both Lexy and Hailey because Hailey turned out to be Lexy’s campaign manager. And so Jesus literally had nowhere to hide because all four girls had been running out the school in order to campaign.

And not to mention there was also Jude. Jude whose boyfriend had to move away because he knew his father was only barely able to tolerate their gay lifestyle. So where’s a big brother when you need him, ready to take them to beach or something? Oh, that’s right he was with Cortney.

Which really means he was busy taking his mind off of Callie but Cortney ended up being just out of relationship. So she was honestly looking for anything new. And therefore Brandon had only music left to help him out.

He needed something for his senior’s project and he found a way to turn his pain into music yet receive credit for it.

Though Callie ended up using her ‘Fost and Found’ to help herself when she incidentally came across AJ. He had left town but someone had used SuperCallie and that had been his and Callie’s thing. So she thinks she’s found him online and is choosing to keep another secret from her parents.
