The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Genoa City will be hit with some big returns and shocking moments this holiday season. We’ve already seen one familiar face popping up on canvas. Traci (Beth Maitland) arrived to make peace within the Abbott clan, but she’s finding the task quite difficult.
Jack (Peter Bergman) is struggling to reconcile with Billy (Jason Thompson), but they’ll undoubtedly patch things up sooner or later. Traci is determined to get a Christmas miracle. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will do whatever she can to help Traci achieve her goal. Perhaps they’ll make some progress before the holidays are over.
In the meantime, The Young and the Restless fans are in for a treat. Judith Chapman will return to the role of Gloria Bardwell on December 21, which happens to be Christmas Eve in Y&R’s world. Gloria has been MIA for nearly two years, but she’s finally coming back to stir up trouble.
Of course, Gloria’s relatives won’t get a heads-up on this unexpected arrival. She does what she wants when she wants. Gloria doesn’t need anyone’s permission to take Genoa City by storm. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will be stunned when their mother stops by for a visit.
There’s a good chance Gloria will get mixed up in the drama at Fenmore’s eventually. Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) may have her hands full once Gloria starts poking around. Regardless, it looks like Gloria could be playing a more prominent role moving forward. Sally Sussman, the head writer of The Young and the Restless, seems to be a huge fan of this glamorous schemer.
Y&R viewers might see some surprise returns around Christmas. You just never know what the CBS soap is keeping under wraps. Once the holidays are over, Colin (Tristan Rogers) will make his way back to town. Tristan Rogers will return for an intriguing arc that starts at the end of January.
What will Colin be up to this time? You can bet that he’ll cook up a plot. Colin usually manages to make terrible situations even worse. It should be interesting to see what Colin has up his sleeve. We’ll all be anxious to see how his plan blows up!
