The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 14, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will have something up her sleeve. She wasn’t happy about getting fired from GC Buzz and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) suspects she resorted to sabotage. It’s clear that Hilary will do whatever it takes to reclaim her job.
However, Hilary’s efforts backfired if she indeed set Mariah up to fail. GC Buzz viewers were thoroughly entertained by Mariah’s faceplant. She got great reviews online and it looks like the fans are clamoring for more. Y&R spoilers say Hilary will switch to a new tactic. She’s determined to have a bright future in her chosen career.
Hilary will have a business meeting at the athletic club. She’ll thank someone for agreeing to see her on short notice. When Lily (Christel Khalil) walks in, she’ll immediately wonder what Hilary is cooking up. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Lily will try to get to the bottom of Hilary’s latest stunt.
Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) will get some disappointing news. Wednesday’s preview video shows Mariah insisting that she can’t host the show. It seems Mariah just can’t get past the humiliation. Besides, she knows Hilary isn’t going to let up. If Mariah doesn’t back down now, Hilary could make her life miserable.
This obviously puts Devon in a real bind. If he doesn’t want Hilary reporting and he doesn’t have Mariah as a replacement, Devon is running out of options. Even if Devon goes crawling back to Hilary, there’s no guarantee that she’ll take the offer immediately. She might want to teach Devon a lesson by leaving him hanging for a day or two.
Devon will frantically search for a solution to his problem. Across town, a Newman gathering will be a bit calmer. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will gather with Nick (Joshua Morrow), Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for some holiday fun. They’ll all sing “Jingle Bells” as Nikki tickles the ivories.
This piano sing-along will really put the gang in the Christmas spirit. Unfortunately, Nikki won’t be jolly enough to extend any kindness to Sharon (Sharon Case). The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Nikki will completely shut down Sharon’s attempt to smooth things over.
Sharon doesn’t expect to be besties with Nikki. She probably doesn’t even expect true forgiveness. Sharon just wants to regain a little peace for Dylan’s (Steve Burton) sake. She knows he feels torn between his wife and his mother.
