The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, December 8, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will get some surprising updates from Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Victoria dumped Travis (Michael Roark) and she feels satisfied with that decision. Without trust, there was no point in continuing the relationship.
Unfortunately, that leaves Victoria with the unpleasant task of spreading the news. Thursday’s preview video shows Nikki walking into Victor’s (Eric Braeden) office with a wedding gown. She’ll hold it up as Victoria prepares to burst her bubble.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki and Victor will listen to Victoria’s heartbreaking confession. They’ll try to offer support, but that won’t stop Victoria from being embarrassed. She hates that she had to break off her engagement, but that was better than marrying a man she had no faith in.
On a happier note, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will have an anniversary celebration. They’ll be thrilled that they found a way to overcome the struggles of the past. Michael will make Lauren feel loved on this special day. She’ll want to do the same for her hubby.
Sadly, business troubles will keep Lauren from fully enjoying their time together. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Michael will realize Lauren is a bit distracted. She’ll try to brush off Michael’s concerns, but he’ll push her to open up.
Michael will suggest that a solid relationship is built on honesty. Lauren just won’t be sure she needs to divulge her concerns. It seems Fenmore’s has run into some difficulties lately. Their profits are dipping and Lauren is starting to worry.
However, Lauren doesn’t know if she should bother Michael before things get serious. There’s a chance that they can bounce back during the holiday season. The projections aren’t good, but Lauren is trying to hold out hope.
Will Michael convince Lauren to confide in him or will she stay silent a little longer? Regardless, it appears Lauren and Michael will be getting more airtime soon. They’ll have to tackle the drama and press on.
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) will have punishment on his mind. He plans on making Billy (Jason Thompson) pay by pushing him out of the family. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will also face some tough moments in Thursday’s Y&R episode.
When Phyllis mentions Michael and Lauren’s anniversary, Jack will remind Phyllis of the happy couple’s wedding night. He’ll point out that Phyllis left with Nick (Joshua Morrow) that evening. Jack will add that history tends to repeat itself.
It looks like Jack still isn’t ready to forgive, but he might be open to the idea down the road. Perhaps Christmas will help soften Jack slightly. Everyone is Genoa City is a smidge jollier around the holidays.
Y&R fans will be anxious to see if Jack can give the gift of forgiveness this year. We’ll keep you posted as other details emerge.
