The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will soon discover that he has another adult child. In time that person will take the reigns at Newman Enterprises. The upcoming arc will allow the Newman patriarch to step back from business, but naturally cause his three other children to be deeply jealous. As for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), surprisingly, not as much.
It’s far too soon to speculate about this new child’s maternal connection, as Victor has engaged with various beauties the world over through the years. The uniqueness of this offspring’s identity will be far different than Adam’s (formerly played by Justin Hartley) circumstances.
While Victor’s clan didn’t have an existing relationship with Adam upon his initial arrival in 2008, as then portrayed by Chris Engen, they were aware of his existence. So, will Y&R create another son, or add a female for her newfound sisters to scratch at?
Vickie (Amelia Heinle) can throw whatever tantrums she likes. But how many times has she voluntarily chosen to tell her father that she was quitting in the past? Yes, many. This go-round will be no different.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) abandoned Newman long ago for The Underground, save for a temporary return while his dad was in jail earlier this year. Long-time fans can hardly blame Nick for having sought and then maintained his independence. However, the arrival of a new sibling won’t give him license to offer a hot take on corporate dealings. Yet he’ll do just that.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) is in a different position than the other two heirs. She is working for Victor right now and is doing a good job. Abby is also going through a divorce, so dealing with a sibling who suddenly appears and then takes over shortly thereafter will likely be more than she can bear. To-date, the most emotional of the bunch, odds are on a walk-off happening.
Of course Nikki won’t be pleased with the developments. But, her stance could be neutralized if this new child’s mother is no longer on the earth. In other words, the lack of a perceived romantic rival would allow the first half of Niktor to more smoothly swallow a newly discovered child of her true love.
While DNA tests are hardly conclusive on the soaps, Victor will be convinced by said scientific proof in this instance. And, the coming storyline will also allow an increasingly softer side of the Moustache to be further evidenced within the beloved fictional spot known as Genoa City, Wisconsin.
