The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers for this week’s episodes from Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29 reveal that after Victor is free, Victoria and Nick worry about their fate, Phyllis can’t control her urges and she and Billy are caught, plus Chloe continues to wreck lives.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is freed thanks to Dr Gates’ (Alicia Coppola) dad and the promise to never see his daughter again despite Phyllis Newman (Gina Tognoni) making a blistering scene at his appeal hearing. Furious Phyllis lashes out at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) gets the news from mom Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) that he’s saddled with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) as his co-boss at Brash & Sassy. Billy’s not happy but Jill promises if he can show her that he can handle things, he’ll get the reins back later.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) shows up to Victor’s place soon after his release but refuses to hand over the diary pages he needs to get Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) out of jail. Adam continues to withdraw from Chelsea Newman (Melissa Egan) because of his prison sentence.
Adam doesn’t want Connor to see him in jail and pulls back from Chelsea. Then The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal Chloe shows up on her former BFF’s doorstep and Chelsea worries about Chloe’s agenda and what she wants from her.
Chloe assures her she’s over the Adam revenge thing and the ladies head out for coffee. Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) is stunned to see his ex there. Despite that he’s on a date with Natalie Soderberg (Mara McCaffray), Kevin can’t leave Chloe alone.
He demands to know why she hasn’t contacted him and Chloe doesn’t want to dwell on the past. An angry Natalie will walk out unnoticed while Chloe makes it clear to Kevin that no reunion is coming their way. Billy will be shocked to see Chloe later in the week.
But for now, Billy is happy when Phyllis comes calling and crying to him about her anger over Victor’s release. Billy takes Phyllis to bed and The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal that Jill catches them in flagrante. Jill is stunned and doesn’t reveal that she caught them making love.
Jack comes to see Victor to try and make peace but Victor thinks Phyllis will be intent on revenge. Jack tries to smooth things over. Victor goes back to work and makes it clear he’s the boss again and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wonder what that means for them.
Phyllis is wracked with guilt over her continued cheating but also can’t seem to stop. She asks Jack for more time alone to “work things out” and then she and Jack have a frank talk about how Marco’s presence in her life wrecked their marriage.
Phyllis wants to come clean to Jack but may not get the chance before it comes out. Kevin and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) come upon some shocking information and Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) is out of the hospital and making plans for a big move that will surprise many.
Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) is hiding something from Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) but what is it and how long until it comes out? Victoria gets a tempting proposal this week that could shake up her home and work life – is this from Jill about Brash & Sassy?
Also, Chloe stands up to Victor when he tries to leverage her to get what he wants. Will Victor be able to keep his pledge to free Adam from Walworth? Adam continues to withdraw further from Chelsea and sinks into depression over being stuck in jail for the crime he didn’t commit.
