“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, February 9, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) will try to process the horrific scene at Fairview. They’ll realize that Dr. Anderson is dead and Nick will worry that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) may have been involved.
In Patty’s (Stacy Haiduk) room, Sage will spot blood on Patty’s sweater. She’ll ask what happened, but Patty will seem pretty out of it.
Sage will run into Sharon and Nick as she’s leaving Patty’s room. She’ll mention the splashes of Patty’s blood, but they’ll let her know it belongs to Dr. Anderson. Sage will be stunned by the news that Dr. Anderson is dead.
Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan (Steve Burton) will show up to find out what went down. Sharon will discuss Sage’s true motive for staying at Fairview. Nick will open up about how Dr. Anderson fits in his past.
Back with Patty, she’ll have a detailed flashback about the events leading up to the stabbing. Patty will remember threatening to tell Sage the truth about her baby. In the flashback, Dr. Anderson admits she took the child to hurt Nick before she developed feelings for him.
When Dr. Anderson grabs a syringe and moves forward, Patty wrestles the syringe away. She stabs Dr. Anderson in the back with a knife or letter opener.
Once the flashback is over, Paul will tell Patty he’s sorry he didn’t see this coming. He’ll tearfully apologize for letting Patty down. Patty will just sit there singing. Nearby, Sage will believe Dr. Anderson was hiding additional secrets.
Paul will join the rest of the group and Dylan will announce that they need to do some investigating. There’s undoubtedly more to this story.
At Crimson Lights, Noah (Robert Adamson) will persuade Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) to work with him. They’ll agree to partner up in their efforts to bring Victor down, but Noah will want Luca to leave Summer (Hunter King) alone.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) will find out that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) got updates on Noah’s secret. Adam (Justin Hartley) will claim he had no choice but to tell Chelsea the truth about Luca’s blackmail plot.
Adam and Victor will bicker over who’s responsible until Luca arrives. After Luca gloats, Victor will lash out him. Luca will insist he’s not scared. Between the file on Noah’s accident and the one on Victor’s business with Marco (Peter Bergman), Luca will feel confident about maintaining the upper hand. Victor will kick Luca out of his office and shout that this isn’t over.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Chelsea will meet up with Marisa (Sofia Pernas) at Top of the Tower. She’ll say she knows Noah’s secret. Noah will arrive and Chelsea will urge him to leave the country immediately. Noah won’t be sure that he’s willing to do that.
Marisa will offer to leave with Noah. She’ll say they can get revenge on Victor through their happiness. Marisa will state that she’s done with Luca. Noah is the one Marisa wants. They’ll lean in for a steamy kiss.
At the penthouse, Chelsea will tell Adam that he has to be completely honest with her in order for their relationship to work. Adam will reply that he understands. He’ll insist that Victor won’t mess up what they have together.
Unfortunately, that might be wishful thinking on Adam’s part. Y&R viewers will be anxious to see what’s in store. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Adam and Chelsea’s love can survive the obstacles ahead.
