The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is about to have a huge dose of reality served to her, in the most humiliating way. Her lifelong paternity secret is about to be exposed, lives and relationships will be shattered. Ashley’s biological father is Brent Davis (Bert Kramer) who had an affair with Katherine Chancellor. Of course almost everyone in GC thinks she is the daughter of John Abbott (Jerry Douglas).
Fans of the Y&R have been watching Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) slowly turning into the brat we all knew she was. When her billionaire husband, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) bribed GC Buzz to not air a segment, they did it anyways, so Devon goes above them and actually buys the show with the intent of making it a positive, instead of a gossip, dirt digging show.
Hilary is getting bored with being kind and nice, she is itching for a great story and is willing to sell her soul to do it; when Devon sees this side of her, he fires her. Hilary immediately runs into Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) arms, who offers to help her get on her feet career-wise. We all know Hilary has a thing for Jack so when opportunity knocks, who and what will she choose to do with it?
As we saw this week, Phyllis Summers Abbott (Gina Tognoni) has decided to close the “Jack” chapter of her life, leaving the door wide open for Hilary to slither in. Hilary will learn the explosive secret that Ashley is not John Abbott’s biological daughter; what do you think she is going to do with that information?
She no longer has GC Buzz to expose the truth, but she has been looking at new possibilities in the same field. It is not a stretch, if Hilary finds out the secret Ashley and Jack are hiding, she will play both sides against each other but she is playing a risky game because she is not the only one who has a vendetta.
Phyllis has been put through the ringer with the Abbott family recently, especially by Ashley, who doesn’t have much of a moral compass herself. Phyllis has adjusted her mentality and let go of Jack, that doesn’t mean she isn’t bitter. She is similar to Hilary in this department, and truly there is nothing worse than a woman scorned.
Ashley needs to watch her back. She of all people should know that secrets always have a way of coming out, some longer than others; but it appears its her time to face what it means for her and everyone around her. Her daughter, Abby Rayburn Newman (Melissa Ordway) will be lost, her whole life believing she was an Abbott was a lie.
Precious and kind Traci Abbott Connelly (Beth Maitland) might have a few things to say, this deception from both Jack and Ashley could drive a huge wedge in the family. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will finally be able to play the morale card with his older siblings, since this devastating secret is, for once, not his fault!
